  Another reason I like Obama

  so you know how everyone is chatting up that obama promised the girls a puppy.

  well during his press conference the other day he said he wants to rescue a dog.

  i know one of his girls is allergic to pet dander, so they need a hypoallergenic dog .. but the fact that he wants to adopt a dog to me indicates that he is a man of the people.

  Higher Education Question - Need assistance please

  so i was talking to a friend of mine who was also raised a jw and who is also "inactive".

  he is seriously considering going back.

  the thing is that he is all into higher ed and is currently getting his masters.

  Bobby Knight resigns effective immediately!

  so according to the ap wires, the reason he is resigning is cause he is "tired" and basketball is no longer fun.

  i wonder if there is more to this story.

  think about it, this guy is legendary.

  fyi,we've just learned that the illinois senate voted 55-1 on friday to override the governor's amendatory veto on the 7% tax cap bill (hb 664).

  it is put on thru the friends of the park and it is a total blast.

  a gf of mine introduced me to a very cool site www.tv-links.co.uk it has links to all kinds of shows.

  unfortunately not all the links work, but you can send a message by clicking on the "mark as dead" and someone out there in magic fairly land will check it out and w/i a couple of days it seems to be fixed.

  some of you probably already know about this site, but for those of you that are a little behind (like me), check it out, it might just have a few shows for you to enjoy.
