ok, i've heard it all: sincerity, honesty, security, money, love, romance, flowers, poems, promises, and more.

but, in my arguably limited experience, i've been shot down while doing all of these (at differnt times obviously).

so, what do women really want?

What can we do to get after apostates and opposers more.

I would ask:

"How do you feel about an active JW's involvement on this board?"

and:

"What do you think of this statement by an active JW named Steve Klemetti?

"Boy, are you people stupid. You have to join the group to get access. And I am doing layout changes now. The reason that I set up the site is that there is so much focus on the Watchtower. I am one of Jehovah's Witneses,not the Watchtower. In none of these files, does anyone use the term "Watchtower Organization." The site is not about the Watchtower. I do not have Watchtower material on there. For that reason they have no jurisdiction over it. How is it that there are so many that are against and talking badly about Jehovah's Witnesses when you all don't even know about JWs? That is because you don't listen. But the purpose of the site is that all of you are so Watchtower this and Watchtower that, but yet Jehovah's Witnesses are much more than The Watchtower. They are just publishers of printed materials. There are no printed Watchtower materials on there. The purpose also is to have accurate information that was given in the past rather than looking back. Actually I passworded it because I am doing layout changes and uploads until tomorrow. But people are making alternate statements."

Dating a JW vs. an XJW.

on another board i just read about a guy complaining that the jw's he wanted to date were cold, stuck up etc.

while "worldy" women were easier to date etc.. now on the "worldly" part, i'd agree to an extent.. however.

the stuck up ones, the pioneers, etc.

Do you know this feeling?

do you know the feeling of looking out of the window at the sky, thinking 'there will be no armageddon, everything is well, i followed my conscience...' ?.

do you know the feeling of just going for a walk, all alone.. and realizing that you are alive and out of it, that there is no god counting your hours and meetings?

that is was all just a bad dream, that you are free now to follow your own moral compass.. it makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time.... do you sometimes look at the faces of total strangers in the streets or on the train, wondering how you could have ever thought that most of them could be murdered any moment by some 'loving' god?

Welcome Deus! I felt the same way when I left. It's like a 'love for fellow humans' switch was flipped.

i recently remembered this jw rumor that went circulating around when i was younger.

two sisters call on a door in service and is confronted by an obviously demon possessed individual.

(the details always changed, floating lamps, speaking in tongues, the usual folklore) sensing a disturbance in the force the younger sister leaves but the older pioneer sister stays determined to give her witness.
