Since you on the right won't answer this question. Abortion
by dawg ini posed this question on another thread... namely burns and hooberus...wouldn't answer, so i thought i'd ask it again in an open thread..., .
you on the right disagree with roe v wade... so that means that you want to redefine when a zygote, embryo, or a fetus has what anyone would rule for lack of better words "the right to life"... .
exactly when is life, human as per your definition?

Actually dawg I think the real question is, can a person be pro-choice and personally disagree with abortion? I think a person can.
Pro-choice does not necessarily mean pro-abortion. It simply means a person has the right to choose what they do with their own body. The federal and state government should protect this right to choose. -

Would you support professional jurys?
by 2112 inwe have seen many times over the years where jurys make their judgements based on emotions and not on the rule of law or the facts.
-the menendez brothers after killing their parents were found not guilty by the jury.
being asked why they decided the case that way the reason given was "those boys are so handsome and now they don't even have a mother.

Evolutionists Flock To Darwin-Shaped Wall Stain
by BurnTheShips init's a miracle!.
evolutionists flock to darwin-shaped wall stainseptember 5, 2008 | issue 4436. darwinic pilgrims claim the image fills them with an overwhelming feeling of logic.. dayton, tna steady stream of devoted evolutionists continued to gather in this small tennessee town today to witness what many believe is an image of charles darwinauthor of the origin of species and founder of the modern evolutionary movementmade manifest on a concrete wall in downtown dayton.. "i brought my baby to touch the wall, so that the power of darwin can purify her genetic makeup of undesirable inherited traits," said darlene freiberg, one among a growing crowd assembled here to see the mysterious stain, which appeared last monday on one side of the rhea county courthouse.
the building was also the location of the famed "scopes monkey trial" and is widely considered one of darwinism's holiest sites.

Nothing but the Blood - Chapter 10
by daniel-p in[to all those who followed the first eight chapters of my story, thank you.
it's very healing for me to write all this.
i had fooled myself that my story was done after chapter 8, but it really wasn't.

Great chapter. The descriptive style of writing keeps me engaged. I enjoyed how casually you included oral sex being from the demons, as part of a conversation.
Even though no two stories are the same, your style of writing finds me identifying with you over and over again. I feel this is the mark of a great writer. -

LIVING AUTHENTICALLY.....what does it mean to you personally?
by journey-on infor me, it means that sometimes you have to give up the comfortable illusion that was pulled over your eyes and accept the consequences of being truly free to seek and find..... to "know thyself".
sometimes this is uncomfortable and lonely after having been a witness for many years.
i think that is why many jws choose to remain ignorant and inauthentic.. they fear authenticity.

my authentic self changes from moment to moment
I hadn't thought about this. We tend to think our authentic self is something to be discovered and unraveled. We don't usually see it as changing from moment to moment. Something to ponder.
My authentic self is a contingent thing. It depends on what came before it, and to a degree what I anticipate will happen in the future. Just like the water that flows a certain way because of the rocks below, the size of the river, and the degree of the incline, so is my authentic self.
Observing this without judging, part of an authentic life for me.

Great thread.
For me it is always trying to observe things for what they are in that moment and to accept things and people for what they are, without judging. I find great inner peace when I am able to consciously do this.
I've found it a great help in discovering who I am, my authentic self you might say. Positives and negatives, it's all there ready to be observed.
Once I'm able to do this, I start to realize my authentic self changes from moment to moment, like water flowing in a river. "Who am I" is an ever changing variable. -

BonaFide,
Welcome. I am sorry to hear about your experience about the AED. It is like talking to a brick wall after a while.
I went to my last DC a few years ago as an MS. I only attended 1 day and spent the other 2 browsing at a book store allowing myself to read all those things that were considered taboo. Trust me, it gets better.
Enjoy the board, and welcome to the real world.
