i am new here and i have been reading a lot of stuff on this board.
my parent's are both jws, i am still active and still believe i have the truth.
i consider myself a moral person.
Assuming that MF is not a troll then maybe it would be a good idea not to respond to his/her questions with "well the JW's are not decent blah blah blah" It is kind of irrelevant to the discussion or questions at hand.
MF if you are going to make blanket statements about what people have posted and how that reflects on their "human decency" perhaps you should copy and paste he comments you find offensive

i love science fiction books and have run into a dry spell.
i have read alot of david weber but he has been quite slow with new books lately...anyone have any good suggestions for a good read...i need 5 star authors with "blow your socks off" books...any suggestions...

Best book ever, and also perhaps the funniest book ever, the only book in fact that has actually managed to make laugh so much while reading it that I had to put it down while rolling around floundering and laughing

I t would not shock me everything tht bible does not specifically prohibit will become a conscience matter in time. Christmas will remain a no no however as will easter, but blood transfusions and birthdays will slowly become frowned upon then eventually generally accepted

Michael Crichton's Timeline was pretty good. A bit dry in spots but overall, was well written.

in the bible, the god of the old testament seems to be so harsh and unforgiving, while jesus seems so nice.... makes me wonder if jesus would have been god almighty, if the world would be a better place today?.
This site does produce some strange, strange threads. I mean how do answer a question which involves an imaginary entity and a character who personally never wrote anything that we know of and who's life strory was written by guys years after his death? This is sort of question I mull over after a few beers, quite a few beers, along with thoughts like " does superman ever need the toilet and what are the consequences of super constipation" and " is the world a interconnected super organism with a collective consciousness"

So BlueBlades do youbelieve that THEY seriously believe their own lies?? Collectively as a group maybe but individually? The GB re the policy makers, the story tellers. It would be like a parent believing in the fairy they have just imagined into a bedtime story for their 5 year old kid
