Do you keep hitting the snooze button in the morning?
by Elsewhere inhttp://www.cnn.com/2005/tech/04/04/spark.clocky/index.html.
clever clock stops you sleeping late.
(cnn) -- if you are not a morning person and find it difficult to get out of bed, then "clocky" might be the thing to improve the start of your day.. a scientist at the massachusetts institute of technology (mit) has invented the clever device, which will defy even the most determined alarm clock "snoozers.".

Possible Jackson show at Vegas
by freedom96 indonald trump and some others have a vested interest in some casinos in vegas.
trump has expressed some interest in having michael jackson perform at one of the casinos.
he has back peddled some, but still, it gives an interesting idea.. i would imagine it would be quite a show.. the question i have for you is, would you go see it?

I wonder, would it be as successful as some of the other artists have done? Look at Celine for example........huge success.

I imagine for some of us it depends on if we think he is guilty or innocent of the court case pending right now. But either way, it would have to be quite an experience to see.

Jackson is guilty of bad judgement for sure.
In this particular case, I think the family is out for money, regardless of what they say. The fact is the first person they went to was the attorney for the 1993 case. Not the police.
They have been caught in many lies. Interesting that the mother has not been put up on the stand. I wonder if the DA has decided not too, as she will be a piece of work up there.
The defense seems to be doing a pretty good job of finding out the inconsistancies of the people to testify so far, even the guy on the stand today.
And we have not even seen the defense yet.
I sure hope that he is innocent, for not only his sake, but the kids.

I had several friends who went to the witness school. I went to visit them a few times, and I was not impressed.
Sadly, one of my friends, who is highly intelligent, went for a couple of years for high school, and found out that the credits were not transferable. So he many classes he had to re-take.
If I recall correctly, all the gave everyone was a GED anyways.
It didn't seem all theocratic to me.

classmates.com... a jw witnessing tool?
by coffee_black ini joined classmates a few days ago... just a temporary membership...to see what it's all about.
when you're a member you can join message boards that have to do with interests you might have.
one of those groups discusses religion, and it's one of the largest groups.

Questions About Being Worldly
by Golf indid you ever consider yourself a worldy person while being a witness?
if you did, what constituted worldliness?
in my days i've done many things that didn't bother my conscious, yet, by todays standards of the org.

I suppose most witnesses would label me worldly, after apostate I guess.
For me, I don't want to be labeled, so I never thought myself as "worldy" any more than any other term to describe myself. I am me, and thats it.
