Just like the State can outlaw sex between a counselor/doctor and a patient they can outlaw sex between a student and teacher. It can lead to corruption in the class room. A teacher could require a student with a poor grade to have sex with them to get a better grade.

This sentencing is only for people that have sex with children 11 years old or younger. As far as the statutory rape is concerned proceed with caution when dating someone less then twenty-five years old.

i was just reading nathan natas post about one good man and a knife.

i got to thinking, if it weren't for the wt$ teaching against the military, would any of you have gone into the service and if so what branch.. for me i think maybe the air force.. .

I actually served in the US Army in the 1980's when I was a Evangelical Christian. I can honestly say I hated every day in the Army and it was a common feeling among my fellow soldiers. Officers treated enlisted as stupid chattel. God does not want his followers to join an Armed Force to kill innocent people. You can not serve God while engaged in a war. If Jesus wanted to do something about a situation then he would send a legion of Angels to handle the situation. We must be witnesses for God and explain his plan to the world, not soldiers calling in air strikes and artillery barrages on women and children in a village or city. IMHO.

No, This was a program that was paid by the State, not a regular meeting or religious service that receives no funding from the government.

Joel Osteen is one of those prosperity Gospel preachers. I have watched him on interviews and he has no real theology, just God is good and will RICHLY bless his believers if they have faith and tithe to him.

let's discuss "watchtower worship"....or the understanding of the idea of "worship".

this is defined as "a reverence for god" in my dictionary.

Even if you disagree with the Jehovah's Witnesses that doesn't mean they are wrong or bad people. The bible teaches that all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. It does not matter if you are Jewish, Baptist, Catholic, Muslim or Unitarian. Those that believe in God will be saved. We must follow God's laws especially not to murder or be sexually immoral as pointed out in Revelation 22:15. But different customs and beliefs by religious groups does not mean they will be forsaken by God.
