The first part is fine, but he just can't write anything without trying to toot his own horn. Why Oh Why did he have to go into that diatrib about the blogger attacking e-Watchman. And speaking about himself in 3rd person. W.E.I.R.D.O Thus are the words of Rassillon

E-Watchman's commentary on the interview with J.R. Brown
by truthseeker inregardless of differing opinions on e-watchman, this commentaryis excellent, including the graphics.. this is worth a post on its own.. kudos to lisa, without you this would not have happened.. http://www.e-watchman.com/commentaries/where-does-truth-lie.html.
beware of the kingdom con men .
the latest scandalous revelations of the pedophilia-related criminal activities of a long-time bethelite raise questions anew regarding the watchtowers credibility and ought to cause thinking jehovahs witnesses to reconsider the notion that jehovahs witnesses are living in a predator-free spiritual paradise.

Have any of you been to e-watchman?
by Silvia Plath inhttp://www.e-watchman.com/.
this site is also made up of many ex and current jw's, the difference is they all remain deeply committed to christianity and bible study, but are extremely distrustful of the watch tower orginanization and consider it to be a "pharisee" or a "false prophet" what the bible warns of.
from what i am reading they seem to be the beginning movements of a break away sect, many of them praise russell who seems to have been more spiritual and laid back and trace the demise of the movement with rutherford, who began introducing all the messed up rules they have now.

They are led by a retard who started the site. He fancys himself a Prophet. The people who follow him can't think for themselves. They get mad if you question him, or show his faults. There are claims that he plagurized some other guy's book is his recent book. I don't know cause I could stand reading his essays cause like I said he is a retard. weirdOs the bunch of them. but hey, whatever floats their boat. I could see it turning jim jones-ish. If they break away they will be just a bad copy of a bad cult. Just my opinion. -r

The Great Watchtower Porn Panic
by metatron insome years ago, when the 'voluntary donation' arrangement was announced, the society followed it up with a period of near panic.. they flooded the kingdom ministry, watchtower and circuit assemblies with pleas "reminding" the friends to open up their wallets.. eventually, they calmed down and accepted the situation, especially after coming up with new scams involving "deficits" at assemblies.
and appeals for property being willed to them.. .
it is with this background that i note a burst of emphasis about porn.

What led you to think that the Watchtower had God's approval?
by JH in.
when you were a jw, what led you to think that the watchtower had god's approval?.
just because they said so??

Yeah, being raised around the "truth" especially if you see people who are kind caring, genuine, sincere, etc....You start to transfer the trust you have in the individuals to what they said, seeing no reason that the ones you trust would be deceiving you. Which they weren't, they were themselves deceived. Just like kids think no one can beat there dad when they are young.
That makes you feel you are being told the truth and so you have no reason to check the facts of what you are being told. Then you are cautioned that there is a big conspiracy by Satan and the "world" to mislead you. So anything that does not jive with what you were taught you dismiss.
So I would have to say what led me was a BIG FAT LIE.

Can you think of any WT books that aren't 192 pages?
by silentWatcher inso, the latest book at the convention was 224 pages, and not the typical 192 pages.
more manna from heaven :-) .
besides the greatest man book, can you think of any regular issue book (nwt, proclaimers books, bound volumes, etc not included) that was not 192 pages.

Slimboy, thanks for the correction. I was up late and doing other things. Plus I am pretty much a retard.
wasanelder, my viewpoint is that the society has for a long time misled the "brothers" and have demonstrably led them to wrong conclusions. I don't know how you got the idea this had anything to do with JR Brown. -

Why did vegetarian Abel tend a "flock" on a tropical earth?
by M.J. in.
abel tended a "flock", which could have included sheep, goats, and/or small cattle according to the strongs word usage.. yet people weren't supposed to eat meat until god gave the go-ahead to noah, says the wts.. the earth was totally warm before the flood according to the wts, so tending sheep just for its wool would seem a little pointless.. it seems as if abel would have needed to live off of cain's crops, while he spent all his time hanging out with a pretty much useless flock.
no wonder cain was a bit surly.. what do you think?

They make good fertilizer.
Able was using the fertilizer to make his own crops better.
This pissed off Cain cause he didn't think of it first.
Able got praise for having nicer crops and his sisters thought he was HOT.
Cain got mad cause he was a stupid dirt farmer with no sheep shit for his garden.
He tried to screw one of Able's sheep to release the tension.
Able caught him and he was embarrased.
To cover over this Cain asked Able to come see his crops and give him some advice.
Able went, Cain killed him cause he said he was going to tell everyone he was a sheep f**ker, Cain went back and screwed his sheep.
God caught him screwing the sheep and asked "why are you copulating with your brothers sheep, by the way where is he"
Cain gave a smart ass response cause nobody would let him finish screwing the sheep.
God got pissed at him and made the sheep he was screwing kick him in the head.
God told everyone not to mess with the guy with the hoof print on his forehead cause he is just a poor dirt farming sheep f**ker.
the end. -

Who of us has not said or done something unkinde and then later been confronted about it? We likely felt embarrassed or somewhat guilty. Such feelings can lead a person to deny an error or offer some "explanation" that twists the truth in order to excuse the wrong or make it appear correct. Or in an uncomfortable situation we might be tempted to mention only selected details, editing themto color the facts. Hence, what we say might technically be true yet give a totally different impression. While this may not be flagrant lying, such as is common in the world today, is it really 'speaking truth each one with his neighbor,' or brother? (Ephesians 4:15, 25; 1 Timothy 4:1, 2) When a christian phrases things in such a way that he inwardly knows is leading brothers to a wrong conclusion, to believe something that is really not true, not accurate, how do you think God feels?
