Richard Rawe is supposed to interview someone "involved" in the WT writing dept. What does it mean to be involved with the writing dept? Did this person write for the WT, or did they clean the room for the writing dept? You don't know with the six screens calls because they are all hyped up and then you find out provide very little useful information.
I am not going to bother to waste 6 more hours of my life, that is how long these calls go on for. Peace, Lilly

I agree with everyone else, you didn't break the kid's arm. We had a few sisters like loopy in our hall two that were afraid of their own shadows and they projected all their fears onto their poor kids. They must of thought I was a terrible mother because I let my kids be kids and yeah they fell, broke things (arms and a couple fingers) but so what? They survived it and love telling their friends about the scars they carry and how they got them. It all a part of childhood. Kids need freedom to explore and I agree you can be standing right there watching them and they break something anyway. I know It happened to me. Peace, Lil

Yeah but a communion is still only a church tradition. It is not a biblical thing to do, and the catholics are the only ones that do this ceremony. And technically you are not really part of the church "in total" UNTIL you have your confirmation when you are like 13. But even then, no one will be kicked out of the catholic church for just disagreeing with the priest or deciding not to attend anymore. I know from personal experience because at 13 I quit the church and had no repercussions at all. I am still allowed in any catholic church and can associate with catholics. So there is a big difference between the jw's and the catholics.
But I guess the priest decided not to do this ceremony because he thought the boy could not understand it. I do find it odd though that he wanted to perform a prayer ceremony for the sick (and dying), I would have found this inappropriate too just like the kids family.
like probably everybody else, i have been following along with the whole six-screens mess.. i would just like to say, on a thread all its own, that imho the one person that stands out to me as being the reasonable adult -.

I think all of jwn should be members of the year. All of us collectively was able to "smell a rat" with this Johnny thing. Many folks here called Rick out on it in addition to myself like publishing cult, Leolaia, washblind, outlaw, farkel, Mary among many others. (sorry if I don't remember all the names)
It shows that Jwn has some really smart people who are good investigators for checking fact. We all learned our lesson not to believe everything someone tells us, especially when it is not easy to "digest". We ask the tough questions and we get to the bottom of things pretty fast. You cannot double talk us like the WT did in the past. We ain't falling for none of that EVER again!
too bad some others on the six screens calls have not learned this lesson yet. If they don't learn they will be forever guillable and be swayed by every wind of teaching. Maybe they should lurk on this board a while, they may learn a thing or two. Peace everyone and thanks. Lil
