morrisamb---it sounds like you've already made a decision and I can't see why anyone would attempt to convince you otherwise. I, with all respect, would like to add something. You mentioned that the only point in your suing would be for "monetary gain." This may well be in your case, but please don't believe that the only reason anyone sues is for money. Lawsuits, especially this type, are draining, emotionally, physically, and financially, on the ones that subject themselves to them. Details of their lives are scrutinized. And most of the people that are willing to go through this do not do it for the "money." They do it because sometimes, legally, that's all they can do.........
Personally, I'm the type that would sue for the money. They don't need it in the New System anyway.......... if you ever change your mind, you could always give the money to me, or you could donate it to Silentlambs....that is, if you even got any money, like I said, that's not always the reason for suing.............

i've noticed that my mother is no longer emailing me, nor is she responding to my emails.
i really wish that she would just come out directly and state that she will no longer talk to me instead of just ignoring everything, thinking i will go away.

How do they even KNOW if the R&F are associating with, oh my GOD, "the DFed?"
my guess is that whenever scandalous or dangerous times for the WTS hit, they want to STRESS to members the importance of not associating with ANYONE that may blow the loving WTS's cover........i.e.---------apostates, Dateline, media, Internet, members that have been molested and raped.......
how long before you see the Witnesses getting rid of their televisions, radio's, newspaper subscriptions, Internet service.......they'll be limited to the WT, AWAKE, WTS tapes and media...
and any Witnesses that claim they wouldn't do so if ordered by the WTS can think again....they rid themselves of family when ordered to do, so what's a T.V.?

Thanks so much for posting this info Mike, I know Laurie F. also mentioned wanting to attend but being short on funds. It would be a sad thing if "money" kept anyone that is passionate about this issue from attending........we should all be happy that there are people who WANT to attend and if all it takes is a couple of bucks, well we've got nothing to whine about.....
