  do you know who the worst offenders were??

  the elders.

  the elders, because they were "shepherds and overseers" believed they had the right to talk about you, your family, your job, your personality and so forth.....they pick apart any male in the hall under the guise of seeing whther someone "might qualify for privileges".

  Do you believe that Demons really Exist.

  the reason why i have asked such is question is that i served as a congregation elder for 12 years.

  i served as the presiding overseer for 10 years, and as chairman and media spokes-person for a particular region.

  during my time within the organisation that being almost 30 years, i have concluded that there is, as far as my own experience is concerned grave doubt in my mind as to the existence of the devil and his demonic hoard.

  Hmmmm demons, eh? Nah, I never bought into that whole devil/demon possession thing. This is just my opinion, the whole devil/demon thing was just a means to control the masses by the churches at the time. Now, if we are talking about ghosts and spirits and what happens to a person after they die, that's different. I've had some weird experiences, nothing too mind bending but it did raise the hairs on the back of neck.

  JW cult stunts psychological & moral development

  in reading the many jw apologist trollish posts on this forum, it keeps reminding me of the various theories of moral/psychological development & has made me realize how much the jw cult stunts such growth.

  many different scientists have come up with stage theories of psychological/moral development.

  starts at age 11 or 12

  In my humble opinion I would say that most JWs do not develop past the preconventional stage.... but then...maybe its just my personal experiences..

  Hmmm, Freud had some interesting theories too.
