since he is a master tech with 33 years experience, and ford and toyota factory trained maybe you might have some questions about your car and i could give you some good advice to save you some money.. i usually charge $80.00 for a diagnostic at my shop, so get on board and save some money sorry for the brits but i think your cars are somewhat different as far as emission controls are but mechanically the same so let the questions begin..
Yes, I have a question. I'm on the verge of buying a new ford F150, with 5.4 L eng but I've read, mainly Consumers Reports magazine, of problems with the driveline (transmission? I don't know). Has that problem been corrected. My other choice is a Toyota Tundra 4.7 L eng which seems to be rated very highly by Consumers Reports and everything else I've read. I would use it to pull a 5,500 lbs trailer.
Do you have any recommendation on either vehicle?

I have argued the "Flood" problems with a cute young JW women who wanted to study with me, along with her husband. Her claim as to the formations of the mountains was that they were pushed up by all the water pressure during the "Flood". However water weighs 63 pounds per square foot and rock weighs 160 pounds per square foot. A lighter object does not force a heavier object upward, it works the opposite way. A rock does not float on water.
Strange how someone will argue for their beliefs when all the facts are against them. I'm from a Mormon background and the same thing happens, all facts are against the truthfulness of Joe Smith being a prophet but that does not hinder a true believer.

So who measured the depth of the water above the mountains and how did they know they were above a mountain, no landmarks or navigation buoys ya know?

qcmbr, you seem to have the narrow view of mormism that comes from recieving your knowledge of church history from LDS source only. Branch out and try those evil driven non-mormon's writings of church history, maybe they're not all lies. And maybe the LDS source of history is a little biased as is everything written.

Yes, very good. Or try "Blood of the Prophets" Brigham Young and the Massacre at Mountain Meadows by Will Bagley. That is good for a history of Mormomism in the 1800s in Utah, that is if you don't mind reading about the massacre about 127 women, children and men. All carried out by men of the Mormon Priesthood after Brigham Young set the stage for the event.

Normally I would agree but in this case the LDS or Mormons have mocked and degraded persons of any skin color but "white and delightsome" for most of the churches existence.
A change was made in 1978 to finally allow Blacks into full fellowship or allowed to hold the LDS Priesthood but there still remained the residual effect among the "white and delightsome" members. I can't feel sympathy for them.

There's more there than you want to know but my favorite subject is Mormon Polygamy. Read a little about Joseph Smith and his marriages to other mens's wives and to 14 - 15 year old girls. Makes for interesting reading and interesting questions for Mormon Missionaries to answer as to the reasons for polygamy. No! it wasn't because of excess women as most LDS believe.
