Teens today are into, wiccan, satan worship, vampireism, murder, theft, vandalism, car jacking, drug dealing, porn sex, and that is just the surface and most of these teens come from wealthy , family oriented homes.

Just finished reading about a 16 y/o who posted her own pics on "My Space" and was busted for child pornography.
WTF? What kind of pictures did she have posted?
I don't know about that particular 16 year old but the teens are into porn and go as total nudity until the webhost see's it and deletes them. And they solicit threesomes , 69. etc.....!

1) You too are disgusted by Child Molestors.
2) You argue JW's are no different than other religions who also must contend with molestors among their ranks.
3) You feel no pity for the perpetrators and advocate taking actions against them to protect children.
4) However, your loyalty to the Society seems to surpress all of your instincts.
5) Despite your position on sexual abuse, you admit no problem with the standing 2 witnesses rule.
6) You apparantly agree with the disfellowshipping of victims, Elders and Bethelites who have publically spoken out for changes in Society policies.
Sadly, your loyalty to this controlling organization dominates any difficulties you have with child abuse among your members and flawed policies that encourage a cover-up mentality. The Society has counted on loyalists like you to ignore anything unflattering about them. Thankfully the word has been getting out and the Society has been forced to make changes in their handling of abuse. Thankfully more JW's know to go straight to the police regardless of what their local Elders advise. Hopefully more people are not swayed by arguements (similar to yours) that reporting this demented behavior "brings reproach on Jehovah's name". All of this from the hard work and courage of people who have been expelled for doing what you are incapable of.
You asked what people here have done to affect change. The question is what have you done in your sphere of influence?

You sound very confident in your knowledge that your children have never been molested. Never say never. Don't make the assumption that they would tell you if they were. I did not tell my parents I had been molested until I was almost 40 years old. My friend who was raped at 12 by a "brother" also never told until she was about 40. Another friend who was raped at 5 yrs old by the next door neighbour, never told her family about it. I suspect there are many who take their secrets to their graves. No one on this forum has ever implied that only JW's are molesters. You sound as if you have a lot of unresolved issues of your own that you need to work out before you start giving advice to others who have been molested.

by misanthropic inthis is a very interesting site that you might want to pass on to your nieces and nephews and friends, especially if they have children.

Please don't use the sex offender sites as truth of the crime. I know lots of people who are innocent that are on those sites due to false alegations.

What I'm saying is that I was sexually abused by a Jehovah's Witness. My parents did nothing because he was a JW. Had the same crime been done to me by a worldly person my parents would've made sure he hung for it. Instead they were threatened by the elders to do nothing and so nothing is what they did. I hate them for that. I felt unloved and uncared for my entire life because of it. I will email my reponse and hope you will respect the privacy of it. But from the people on this site who have been cruel thus far i have my doubts, But will chance it.

I am almost positve now that JW is just a child or maybe young teen. But I wanted to add that prayer to the bottom of my post for any Jehovah's Witness Lurkers in the hopes that it will nudge their conscience a little bit. The more we get out how outraged people are about the Org. hiding pedophiles the better. But jw gave himself away because he could not resist the sarcasm and using the term Duh! I have an 11 and 13 year old so I hear this term a Lot. He is about the third one this week that was pulling our chains. Glad he went to bed. And I won't bother answering him any more, so maybe he will give up and move onto another site.
I have no problem responding to sarcasm but if that makes you think I am a child, so be it! What chains do you people think I am pulling here.?

jw do you have a problem with victims of molestation within the Jehovahs witness organization becomeing activists in trying to change organizational policy to protect current and future children? Wow Great question! No , just with the way they are doing it!
people start working on problems that they know and experienced. the policies of the Wtbs need to be changed so that you wont get disfellowshipped if you turn a molester into the police or warn other parents of the danger within the hall. Totally agree with you on that!
