  .... the majority of jews that were expecting him according to their own religious text and tradition but extremely convincing to those that had no clue of judaism ie gentiles?

  what was it that the citizens of the greco-roman world was missing that they would grasp at this vague character as a saviour even though ironically had died on a cross like a criminal?

  how many of us today (60 years after his murder) would believe that gandhi was the son of god had he or his followers made that claim?
