FIREPHIM revisited for all the new ones
by seven006 inyesterday i got a call from one of my exjw friends.
during our conversation (which usually are centered around the watchtower printing company) i asked her if she had read a post i wrote several years ago here on jwd about the group called firephim.
firephim was a corporation that was established by represenitives of the watchtower corp, the scientologist, the raelians (a ufo cult), the moonies, the children of god church (the sex cult) as well as a few other cults.

someone told me they have a attitude like "if it isnt perfect then god does,nt love it".

jws believe disabled people will be healed in paradise...
the Old Testament has some regulations regarding sick and disabled, you may want to check those.

I'm a Pioneer Married To a Wonderful Brother Reaching Out to be an MS...
by cognac inand petrified... i just recently became a pioneer and always had nagging questions in the back of my mind.
so, i decided that when i have get a study i would research all the questions as i go along so as to prove everything in the truth... i got 4 studies in about 2 months.
all was fine, until i reached i think chapter 6 in the bible teach book about the resurrection.

Well, for Ravyn to publish her story on the www and relating that the wt legal department told her to lie in court is quite a risk to take and indicates she is convinced about the matter. Too bad the parent backed off, even denying their own son.
The last thing the wts wants is for anyone to look into this case or even mention it. Thanks to all who do anyway!

My personal proof elders are not spirit appointed

all of us were against appointing a particular ms as elder despite the fact he had regular pioneered for 15 years.
the reason was he told crude jokes and all in the congregation knew it.

That was one big issue for me when I left. Not only did they handle matters of concern badly and thereby causing more damage to those involved, most of them live a dobble life and were forever fighting eachother.
When my father was appointed I couldnt understand why jehovah did that... today I know better.

It is not a waist of time, I'd like to have more evidence. Many jws fully know it is not the truth, but want to hold their position. Others chose not to open their eyes and listen. But a few jws (like we did) think independantly. Who knows how many jws read this thread right now?
