Adam and Eve will not be resurrected because they were made perfect and with out sin. Those that Jehovah has already judged..such has the people of Sodom and Gomorrah and those killed during the flood will not be resurrected...that is my understanding of it anyway. Everyone else, regardless of religion or the things they did or have done in their lives will / might be resurrected...it is even possible that people like Hitler will be resurrected!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who, of other religions, do the JW's think will and won't resurrect?
by JH in.
what's the watchtower's position on resurrection for people out of their religion?.
where do they draw the line, and say who surely won't be resurrected?.

When I say attacked, I meant we were beaten up...Thankfully I am not a small chap so I managed to defend myself....but the guy I was with was in his 60's and he was hurt quite bad. Thankfully an Australian guy who works in Lahore (I was in Lahore Pakistan at the time) also managed to help us...eventually we all got away and ran for our lives....and I mean our lives. If they had not killed us we could have been taken to an Islamic court and sentence to death if they claimed we had blasphemed against Allah...and they only need three witnesses for such a trail..and well, there was a big gang of them.
It's funny the come to the UK and have freedom of religion and demand all the rights, they feel they should have, yet in their country, if you are not muslim you are not treated well. Some Christians lie about their religion so they can get a job or even and ID card. When I was in Saudi Arabia, I really wanted to visit Mecca...But I was not allowed. There is a road sign that clearly states...Mecca (Muslims only)

I just want to say one thing...The light skinned poeples of North Pakistan actually have their roots in Greece. When the invading armies of the Macedonian king, Alexander the Great, arrived in what is now modern day Pakistan, the men had relations with the local woman who thus gave birth to light skinned children. Some of the people in North Pakistan even have ginger hair colour.
When I was a JW I helped out in Pakistan for a little while (which is how I met my wife) and because the situation between Muslims and Christians is far from ideal, we used to do the field work with in the Christian Communities / areas. I have been on the preaching work talking to Muslims...and thankfully must of them were friendly enough, but went to one house in one of the richer areas and a mullar answered the door, and before we knew it (there was two of us) we were being attacked.
But there is good and bad in all religions. I know a Christian who will agrue with me about how plants have feelings and can hear. He agrues they are alive, so they must be able to do such things. And no matter how hard I try to explain that they have no central nervous system and no brain...they can not hear anything. He will not accept that. He told me all science is bad and evil so I said to him..."look round..can you see the TV?...can you see the ceiling lights?....did you not just not take ice cream out of the freezer?...If it was not for science, you would not have those things. And what about life saving medicine....we have that to because of science. When you go home you drive in a car...when you go on holiday you fly in a plane...all things we have because of science" Of course he had no answer of that...so he went back to telling me how flowers can feel and hear.....Strange person.

That is just so very tragic...so very, very sad. I know when I was a JW depression was a big issue for me and I would also think about just ending it all. But since leaving I feel much happier in myself. The WTBTS has so much blood on it's hands. They would not hold the service in the KH becuase he commited suicide, Thats disgusting...because surely if a brother or sister refused a blood and died...that is also a form of suicide? And yet they would have their service in the KH.

Doctor Who, The Cybermen, The WTBTS and Cognitive Dissonance!!!!!
by Gill ina fantastic episode of dr who was on last night.. the doctor is having to get rid of the cybermen who are taking over the earth in a parallel universe.
their creator is, in his mind fighting disease, imperfection, death, by taking out people's brains, putting them into metal bodies that can never decay, and over riding their emotions.. the doctor asks the creator of the cybermen what point there will be in living and existing, if it was not for suffering and pain and death.
there would be nothing to strive for, nothing to overcome.

Yeah...good see Micky end up a hero...Even the Doctor was proud of him.
It's good to see Doctor Who with better story lines...It really started to lose the plot near it's end in the 1980's and then there was that terrible made for tv film..so I was bit concerned that maybe the new Dr. Who series would be a let down...But so far so good...and it has still kept the humour, which is great.
When I was younger my mother knitted me a long multi-coloured scarf just like Tom Baker had when he was the Doctor. I thought it was so cool.

Isn't this new series of Dr Who great.....All of us in the UK grew up on Doctor Who...and the return of the Cybermen was just awesome. I love their new look, so much more threating...don't you think.
But...yeah...when I heard the Doctor speak at the end of the episode I was thinking about how the WTBTS conditions our minds to think how wonderful life is under the WTS. We were controlled by that...but instead of going crazy and dying...I felt relief when I regained my personality and clearity on real life. But it does bring hardships...My wife is still a dub...and she still does not like me not going to meetings and keeps going on about how I will find out when it is too late..etc, etc. And people I thought were friends have proven otherwise.
Anyway...I want to see more of K9...The new Doctor, David Tennat, is the best Doctor Who since Tom Baker

I just wrote a 6 page letter
by Kero-kero ini addressed it to a couple of elders.
one elder i feel i can trust and one elder is in the congregation i used to attend.....*cough* still assigned to....it is just a letter which expresses my concerns and doubts and personal issues with the wts and congregation(s) i did not go it to much detail but it should be enough for them to at least understand my veiw point.
i have asked if they could reply to me...or at least make some kind of comment...even if it to just try and ease my doubts and concerns.

That's it...That is where the idea of the Cybermen come from...The creator of the Cybermen was in the GB and wanted a new super-elder....Hehehehehe!
Oh! I am plucking up the courage now to get ready to stand up in the congregation after the announcment and tell them why I was Df'd. That might make them sit up and think. But I bet the elders will say something about me becoming an apostate and a danger to the congregation which is why the DF'd me.

If I do get DF'd I think I will go to the meeting, just so when they announce it I can stand up and say...I was DF'd because I asked a few questions expressing my doubts and concerns...I did not do anything immoral or even committed a really bad sin, all I did was ask questions. What a loving organisation this really is.
Then with that I will walk out with my head held high. Unless of course the throw me out first...hehehehe!

It seems to me they are more concerned about DF'ing those that ask questions about the WTS then those that abuse children...There seems to be an unbalanced scale of 'justice' here.
I am expecting no love or mercy to be showen. In fact I am positive they have already judge me in their minds. I can read their minds now 'How dare he ask questions about the Watchtower Society. How dare he have doubts about Jehoavh's Earthly organisation. He is not worthy to be known has one of Jehovah's Witnesses or entry into the New System of Things. He does nor deserve everlasting life on a peaceful Earth......He must be Disfellowshipped'
In fact...if they do DF me...it might make my wife sit up and take notice, because she cannot even understand why three elders want to see me...she can even see it has a JC meeting. I told her...if they DF me...it proofs that there is no room for free will or free thinking with in the org...which means it acts like a cult...or it is a cult.
P.S.
Is it my computer....but the topics all seem to end on the 16th May...and I can only visit my topic by clicking into my profile and then click 'view topics' Can someone explain why this is please? Many thanks

That's my thinking...I am giving them a chance to answer my questions..and ease my doubts...but it seems that already want to judge me by bring three elders to visit me. That have not given me a date yet has to when they will visit me...but I have been told it will three elders...so to me that does sound like a JC.
I have already said to my wife...if the DF me for asking a few questions and wanting some answers...then it just proves what kind of controlling organisation they really are...and to that she agreed, because even she cannot understand how someone can be DF'd just by writting a letter and asking questions and expressing their doubts and concerns. It was the only way I could actually get them to listen to me...Talking and phoning seemed to do no good...and no one bothered to call on me...I want to give them a chance...but I think they will wast that chance on telling me how my thinking as become 'twisted'
