That is very interesting. I specifically asked if women were allowed to speak and If I would be allowed to speak. Maybe they meant just ask questions speak. I can also handle that form of restriction. In fact questions often send people searching for an answer or having it nag them to death till they do.

I always ask questions. Thanks for the heads up. I just have been praying for the gentlemen that came to visit last time. They are often on my mind. I pray God will set them free indeed.(of course that would be free to follow Torah from my perspective...hee hee)

I really think that most organized religion does the same sort of mind control thing.

Doctors, Lawyers, Preachers, News Media, politicians and The WatchTower seem to have a lot in common. Using fear to direct the paths of the masses.

I do treasure life. I like, Job also accept my lot in life and praise God for it.

Shall we accept good from God and not evil also?

After studying scripture on health issues I found that a biblical Physician is one that binds up and makes straight.

Luke is never recorded as having healed.

For diseases one is to go to the Priests or the elders to be annointed.

In short, to me physicians are only useful for broken bones, gunshot wounds, severed limbs. For diseases, they really aren't that great anyway. If they had ever been any help I would have perhaps never bothered to search out the scriptures on the issue. I'm blessed by the fact that the JW have helped to promote many life saving blood free alternatives.

Well I guess I believe those to be hideous mistranslations and interpretations. The only interpretive governing body IMO would be the Sanhedrin. I am so excited that the Sanhedrin has been reestablished for the first time in thousands of years. However like the Watchtower, they may presume to have more authority than heaven, claiming it is given them by God. Seems a common error in the Ekklesia. Like the Pope, Nicene Creed etc... However if I chose to live within a community or nation, I would seek to follow all ordinances to the best of my ability as long as they did not break Torah.

I am saying I do not use or consume blood products in any manner. No Vaccines, No plasma, no red cells no white cells. I would never agree to give an organ or to receive one. Taking the blood of the unsaved to save me from eternity with God, to me is unreasonable use of human knowlege.

I also do not use mold based antibiotics. Both blood and mold uses incure curses. I'd never judge anyone's Halacha (observance before God) But it is my Halacha. But then again I have seen God heal both big and small things and do believe if God intends me to live he will see that I have enough blood. I have hemorrhaged several times, and God stopped the flow. I'm glad to be alive, but would also rejoice to see my God. Blessings

I abstain from Blood

I believe in ONE God and Father...

But... Yes the 'authority of the WatchTower" bothered me when the young missionary lady was not allowed to look at scriptures in the bible that contradicted the Watch Tower statement.

I've been invited to a meeting and well, I'm Covenental and keep the feasts and the seventh Day sabbath. It would not interfere with my schedule, but is it a waste of my time to try speaking at such a meeting?

Well are those here then able to give thier impressions. I enjoy the occasional visits from the JW, in that we have some common ground. Is this a non religious site also? I prefer on line debate, because I have so many bible tools at my finger tips. I did go to the official site and only could find a place to enter my home address for a visit. Home visits are too difficult for me to schedule.

Is the WatchTower really considered by JW to be the final authority even over scripture?

Are JW really not allowed to vote?
