  i need the details of a jw 'expert'.

  someone who is not a jw and never has been.

  a real expert in the uk for a programme going to be shot in july.

  UK Radio 4 Programme

  if anyone is interested in the uk, there is an interesting programme on radio 4 monday 24th, 8.00pm.

  entitled "bigots or believers" i don't think it deals with jws but other 'cult religions'.

  however, it may invite comment after the programme where you can take part.

  my parents are convinced that yhwh appears in the original greek text, and therefore christendom is wrong for deleting the name "jehovah" from its bibles.

  i know this is wrong, because obviously the tetragrammaton is hebrew, but i would like to find a website that goes into detail on what the actual greek words are that the jws have translated into jehovah.. thanks in advance!

  Memorial Scrabbling

  well they are scabbling around to find as many people to attend the memorial again this year.. i walked out 3.5 years ago and have not heard anything since from the elders.

  i have one that lives about 50 metres away and he is one that has not even telephoned me in all that time.

  .. just the other night he turns up on my door step and hands me the usual invite!

  I walked out 3.5 years ago and have not heard anything since from the Elders. I have one that lives about 50 metres away and he is one that has not even telephoned me in all that time. . . and yet . . .

  Just the other night he turns up on my door step and hands me the usual invite! Is he for real or what?! I was coldly polite, thanked him for the invite but did not invite him in. The invite went promptly in the bin.

  I just had a thought though, I was concerned enough about his feelings to accept the invite and not slam the door in his face. This was more consideration than I have ever received from him! Just goes to show where christian principles really lie I think.

  Careers after the Truth

  i assume that there are people out there who feel the same way as me.

  such as when they were growing up in the 'truth', did they forego career/college/university because the new system was just around the corner?.

  now i look back and regret the waste.
