  many of us believe the days of the watchower society may be numbered.

  they are receiving an unprecedented amount of well deserved negative publicity.

  however, they are still experiencing modest growth.

  I have to admit that when i found out about all of this on the internet i was upset. I thought that perhaps the borg could be taken down through some covert ops from within.

  Now I believe that those ex-jws who have taken hold of their lives and went to school or back to school and started a true career earning real money should start a public education campaign sort of like persons running for office do. Each year money is collected and used for some targeted public education via radio, tv and print (internet is pretty well covered). Also money could be used to monitor the every move of the leaders within the ranks of the borg, co's, do's, GB, gilead instructors, etc. That intelligence could be used against them for information gathering from within or an internal operation.

  Money is what drives everything, the WTS thrives on it. Why couldn't it drive a campaign against it? There have to be some wealthy ex-jws who could drop some dollars without hurting their bottom line.

  Are there any ex-JW politicians who need a platform to run on? There are a lot of watchtower issues to use.

  Don't misunderstand i am NOT proposing starting a religion just an outreach program that is headed up by a wealthy benefactor who has the experience or persons on his staff to make it happen.

  People have tried it before but did not have the money backing them to do it.

  Started doubting in 2004 and started the fade at the beginning of this year, 2007. pioneer, ms & Bethelite in the past. Family deeply committed including wife and I just feel sorry for them. But at times I feel bad for the probable looks they get for me being out. I still get invited to get togethers and people still treat me well but they may have to do with the fact that I am a po's son and respected in the local community in general.

  Aliens, the down fall of the borg!

  okay, i am not a scifi guy but i was watching bill o'reilly's interveiw with shirley maclane and i found out that she believes in ufo's, aliens, etc.. so it occured to me that should an alien or ufo show up how will the society handle that?

  Career JW's and WTBTS Wellfare(sp)?

  just a thought.....what if a career jw were to do everything that the borg told him to the letter?

  for example, pioneer then get a job as a janitor at night.

  lets say that they do this until retirement with no retirement benefits because they didn't work full time .

  I agree a class action would be appropriate. And what attorney in his right mind would not take that case because a jury now-a-days is sympathetic toward people who are hurt or taken advantage of. With all of the money the society has they would be a prime target.
