My Memorial Experience
by oneairhead infirst of all i noticed that this just seemed like another meeting.
when we drove in we had people parking us in strange ways, not to mention that the amount of cars there was just as many as a highly attended sunday meeting and we do fine then when we have no one to park us.
they had more seats set out and there were no new ones just people who had not come in awhile.

First of all I noticed that this just seemed like another meeting. When we drove in we had people parking us in strange ways, not to mention that the amount of cars there was just as many as a highly attended Sunday meeting and we do fine then when we have no one to park us.
They had more seats set out and there were no new ones just people who had not come in awhile. Persons were taking pictures and laughing in fact my wife brought her camera but she had not charged it so she couldn't.
Here's the talk in a nut shell: 4 minutes about Jesus, 26 minutes of what we should be doing, what was soon going to happen to the world, and how this was the only place to be when you have a free minute.
Afterward, same old thing standing around talking taking pictures, etc. Also one other thing was the teaching prayers that were given. Not a humble supplication to God through Christ but basicly a talk given in the form of a prayer.
Simply amazing.

Others who know the truth about the truth!

one still attends and one does not.
but it is noce to know that they are there and we can have conversations about it.

Within the past week I have met two others in my area who are closet apostates, like me. One still attends and one does not. But it is noce to know that they are there and we can have conversations about it. It is nice to have the support. I have encouraged one to post and he said he would and the other one i have to go and see. Hopefully we will gain two more members on JWD.
I can't tell you how good it feels to have someone to talk to in person about this whole thing.

For years this has been an issue to someone at the top. It must drive this person nuts. He or she continues to make an issue of it. It has already been said but I wonder what the cost was to the bros. to create print and distribute this brochure. When it was read at our hall tuesday the brother made a point to say "...it is in bold and italics...." which referred to the way the WTBTS wrote the letter that accompanied the brochure.
I am telling you it is a fetish with someone in Crooklyn.

The backtrack on 1914 is going strong!

this meant that he could not have come in 1914.. christ did not sit down on his glorious throne in 1914. hence noolite on the sheep and goats parable.. people "faint out of fear" was not at the threat of nuclear annihilation, but terror at the "celestial phenomena" (glorified fireworks, actually) let off by jehoobie to terrorize those who had not bought the witchtower.. now we see it in black and white:.

Another thing the borg could charge for is checks since the banks did it anyway.
The next step is asking the R&F to put their money with the WTBTS as well. There is a religion/cult where I live that does that already as a tax shelter. All of the congregants donate all the money to the church thereby creating $0 income. Then the church distributes it back to them minus whatever the government would have taken in taxes as their contribution. Neat Huh!
Also, what about bank chrarges such as bad checks, over draft charges, fees if your account drops below a certain level. Can you imagine this,"...now brothers inorder to not incur further expense our account cannot dip below $1000.....so now i am confident that the congregation will take care of this matter......" More money could be extracted from the R&F. He who controls the purse strings controls the person or group as the case may be.
