  our special assembly day at bristol assembly hall has just finished.

  as i've said before in october 07 http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/7/144194/1.ashx regarding the last two day assembly weekend.

  They must really be hurting for money if they take credit cards. I have never heard that before. It will be interesting how they will spin this. Might go something like this: Brothers in an effort to accomodate those of you who do not carry cash anymore the FDS has made arrangements to accept credit cards for contributions. We do not advocate the use of credit to make contributions but if that is the method you prefer then we will accept them.

  Can you imagine, that when this does not work either to up dontations what they will resort to.

  Reassignment of Bethelites having negative impact on NYC congregations

  i was talking to a friend of mine recently who had some knowledge of the current situation with bethelites being let go.. he said that this is having a negative impact on some congregations in new york city because these bethelites are also serving as elders in their congregations.. when a bethel elder is reassigned, the congregation loses out on the leadership, and in some cases there are not enough brothers taking the lead to keep the congregation running.. as a consequence of this, a few congregations have been disbanded and merged with other nearby congregations.. has anyone heard anything similar to this?.

  I really think this was an oversight by the WT concerning this downsizing. I bet they gave little to no consideration as to how it would affect the local congs. It was a side effect that they did not atticipate. Great News!

  Mr. Flipper,

  Wow! I don't think anywhere in that post did I tell you how to feel. I too feel that there is a special place for child molesters to go to after they die or leave this planet. I get just as angry as you do about these sick individuals. If you met me in person you would see that. Perhaps one day that will happen. Give Mrs. Flipper my regards. Mrs. One is not an airhead like me so I have to come up with another name for her.

  I am fading and when I see some witness Nazi's that adhere to every word uttered by the FDS says I make it a point to say something and be overly nice. They usually lower their head and walk off.

  next weekend congregations around the world will be studying the wt article on the new definition of a "generation".. i would think there will be an epidemic of cognitive dissonance.

  this must be the first time there has been a change of doctrine on a singular topic twice in 13 years.

  in rural pa, many people tend to vote based on the fear that the dems will force them to have abortions, confiscate their hunting rifles, burn their bibles, and make interracial gay marriages mandatory for their children.

  economic stimulus and improved educational opportunities be damned!.

  Thank you for bringing it to my attention and just to let you know I am a very respectful person. It was a mistake I mistyped and would never disrect a woman that way, so I am sorry to Tatianna. Here in the south we are very respectful folks and simple.

  My politics use common sense and knowledge, unlike the JW's who use no common sense which is what ensnares new converts. Please use more common sense in your politics Flipper.
