  ever feel like you just wanna give up?

  i'm losing my job at the end of this month.

  because of the financial situation in the world, there's a hiring freeze on both internally and externally and hardly any positions are coming up.

  I thought this thread was going to be a commentary on the Book of Job. After reading it, I wish it would have been.

  Sometimes life just picks us up, and slams us to the ground..............sometimes over and over, but we need to keep getting up, even if it takes a while.

  Just keep plugging along as best as you can, doll.

  Things could be better, but they could also be worse.

  Just want to say thanks to all of the fair, thought-provoking, and balanced posters here--this board has been a huge help to me....

  ....but there are a few who insist on just being plain nasty for no reason.. so, i am leaving for a while to concentrate on other stuff that i need to do.

  right now, it is a degree of negativity that i just don't need in my life.

  if you cannot post about even a benign subject without getting vicious comments it is time for a break.

  i did a nice steak dinner....i love to grill/cook....and somehow and for some reason wife brings up jw issues tonight....i really really try to lay off as far as bringing things up.....but anyway....it went on...and on ...and damm that is not good, cause i will speak up if i am given the opportunity........so i really have actually asked four of my good elder buddies for a year "how can i get my faith back?

  "......i hate that i lost my faith!....but these guys have never lifted a finger!!!

  (cause they know they have no answers).......so she keeps saying i have not done that...actually asked for help!
