  Met a Laid off Bethel Couple

  i met a married couple caught up in the recent bethel layoffs.

  they are a fairly young couple in their mid to upper 30s, i didn't think to ask which department they worked in before being laid off.

  the couple was driving cross country from new york to california, and stopping overnight at jw homes along the way.

  Panic attacks and Jehovahs Witness!

  how many of you had panic attacks when you were a jw and when leaving?

  i know of many jw women and a few men who suffered badly with panic attacks.

  since recently having another spate of panic attacks i suddenly realised that i had been having them all my life.

  Because of the panic attacks I started having, I had to quit the Ministry School and could no longer read for the book study or the WT study. I wasn't the only one, either.

  They taught me "Let God be True, and Every Man a Liar".

  What I learned is it also applies to them. I don't mean this in a malicious way, either.

  Higher Education: Is The Issue Really That Important?

  Thank you. It just wants to make me scream........ "but what about the innocent, dead Americans?"

  Some have said (not here, that I know of) that American Foreign Policy brought it upon them, but then you could say the same thing about other countries who have had some of their civilians targeted. I just think, if you are going to be fair, show me the injured American victims and not just those from another country.

  But I'm sure some Catholics and Protestants have applied those same skills learned thru higher education to their religions and you can't tell me they all left and went somewhere else.

  One of my cousins has a Masters in Psychology. Another has a Masters in Education along with his wife and they have not left Catholicism.

  In fact, they have grow closer to their religion, and you can't tell me Catholicism can stand up to unbiased critical thinking.

  So, then, I think if a majority of J.W.'s learned those same critical thinking skills, some, but not all, would still stay in the religion and the WTS is really worrying about nothing.

  i have mentioned, before, that i live in the portland, or metro area.

  i'm still anonymous, on here, but there is a very large concentration of witnesses in the portland area, and i think i'm pretty safe on this disclosure.

  hopefully this next disclosure won't tip my hand to the undercover witness loyalists.
