I Am Confused & Disoriented

by AK - Jeff intoday, as i wait for the grout on the kitchen floor to dry, i began to ponder...... i wonder looking back just how insensitive to reality i could have been to have spent the vastness of my youth and midlife believing the obvious lies of jehovah's witnesses.
though i enjoy my freedom, i have no foundational background upon which to prop it.
though having a sense of being reborn, that rebirth has taken place late in life, and has left me feeling somewhat empty.

my McDonalds drive thru order stolen!...funny and surreal
by oompa inand kinda sad when you think about it.
i was paying at the first window...and the cashier lady was just off the charts happy...very chatty (hey..maybe she was an accomplice)...so it started off weird right away...maybe she was just so happy to have a job...so she had my attention and talked far longer than average....so i pull up to the pick-up window and this little asian man was there...now please read all of his lines with a very strong chinese accent, because it cracked me up....he goes "wha tchou waant"...i said "mighy kids meal...double cheeseburger with a diet coke:....he looked very very confused....the he stuck his head out the window and look at the cars leaving the parking lot....he starts pointing rapidly...then...i swear....he threw up both of his hands...like a hold-up and very shrilly started shouting...."tha laadee....she cut in froont of you....she take yor owrder!
then he said it again as he ran all excited back towards the counter.

by bobld inis buying stocks the same as gambling?
no per gb/fds.however,are the being truthful or are they using this as an excuse/justification of making big money on the stock exchange.as we know many have made big bucks (i think this incudes the wts) at the expanse of others(losers).the wts defends the stock market as being a part of a company and treat it no different than an employee working for (part of ) a company.
(see past wt/a).. help me understand this statement from awake.

" i remember sitting in pizza hut with pioneers argueing {1991} that the end must come by 2000 at the latest...now it's nearly 2010!.
a book i read afew years ago regarding secret hebrew "codes" in the bible claimed the code identified 2007-08 as the end of the world...well unless it happens in the next week that was a load of crap as well....i wonder when many of my witness friends will "awake" to this joke..

by bronzefist init's -5 with a minus 30-35 wind chill factor here so you would think the "loving elders" would cancel the sunday borefest.....nope.
just got a call...."well of course it was your choice, but there were 70 in attendance this morning!!!".
there have been meetings cancelled because of heavy snow, but give me a break going out could be dangerous.
