  Post cataract surgery Great News!

  my vision before the surgery was 20/60 in the eye that has had the surgery.

  i saw my eye dr today and it has moved up to 20/30.

  this is way beyond what i expected.

  i have been visiting this site for almost a year, and i have found it very useful.

  there was a post on a facebook group last night about jw visits and to be nice when they call at your door.

  How sad....the mother was a true blue obedient JW to the end....willing to shun her daughter, and grandchildren, not even leaving any item for the daughter. Cold...very cold....

  After going through this awful ordeal, I had hoped she'd join us here on the forum.

  However, the unkind comments about her lips....I hope she doesn't have to endure those in addition.....

  So, the family was willing to not know for years if he was even alive or in dire circumstances needing help....yet went out in service to talk about Jehovah's loving organization?

  i ended up here after spending the past few months researching jw, without the blinders on.

  i was a born-in, baptized as a teen, pioneered out of high school for a couple years (turning down a 4 year scholarship).
