I found not a peep on the topic at www.purelanguage.net
Not a big surprise, mind you. They are very timid over there. Admitting they actually watched it might raise some eyebrows so I think they are going to stay hushed on the topic.
they might be talking about dateline?
i would like to discuss this show with some jws to see some average reactions of the show.

the bone-chilling sight that landed the blow mere words may not:.
the predator pandelo ---captured on video slogging from door-to-door, standing at an unsuspecting hh's screen door, piously flipping through his bible, engaging in jws' signature "evangelizing" work---in an image that will conjure in the minds of any who viewed (or hear of) the dl telecast every time a "kindly gentleman" from the local kh approaches their door in the future with "the good news.".
that video clip alone will likely have a severely negative impact on "...the small one['s becoming] a mighty nation.".
Excellent points!
Joel, I think you bring up another possibility that hasn't really been touched upon. What happens if, after making initial contact in a supervised ministry, a criminal then uses the trust they gained to violate people on solo return visits.
I hadn't really thought about that end of things.
i kept popping in and out of bill's websight and noticed the counter was avargeing about 1 hit a second or more.
well done bill.
and many thanks to mrs. anderson, the pandellos, and to all the 'not so' silentlambs who have been scarred by the indifferent, phariseical watchtower.
Question: when you pop in and out of Silentlambs, are you being counted as a new hit with each visit or "refresh"? The reason I ask is because many people seem to be monitoring the site for hits but I'm wondering if they arent skewing the count by repeatedly doing so?
Anybody know how this works?
two people can behold the same situation and conclude totally different things from their observations.
the pharisees saw jesus performing miracles and thought that he was empowered by beelzebub.
others watched the same thaumaturgic wonders and praised jesus as the son of god.
My take on Non's affection for third person usage:
Non uses the third person to distance him/herself from the argument he/she is putting forth. They can hardly tolerate the argument themselves and find it so repugnant that they employ the third person as a means of removing themselves emotionally from the subject matter. The authentic personality can't truly accept the argument he/she is making so they fabricate another "self" who can say or do things that the authentic personality doesn't endorse. This allows the actual person to essentially walk away from the discussion without taking personal responsibility for it.
That my two cents on "non".
hopefully someone out there can help me with some advise or direction .
i was raised jw and disassociated 30 years ago.
my family all remains jw so i'm very used to all the usual "world is ending, you're going to die" rhetoric i've gotten from them over the years.
Well, I'm no expert in this area but i'd seriously think about calling the elders. I don't think they'd necessarily care that your bro-in-law is talking crazy but I'd bet they'd care about the extra cult-within-a-cult meetings. Even if they are just motivated by a need to squash any further thought, it might be helpful in shaking things up a bit. From a mental health perspective, though, this guy needs to be monitored. Maybe you could call the elders and say that he's been saying crazy things (and holding additional meetings) and you want them to keep that in mind when they call him up to put a stop to his prophecy parties.

12 shocking as it is, even some who have been prominent in jehovahs organization have succumbed to.
immoral practices, including homosexuality, wife swapping, and child molesting.
Doesn't the Watchtower deem consensual sexual relationships between an unmarried man & woman..."immorality"?
In which case, two single adults having sex before marriage would be disfellowshipped for immorality, right?
So, of the large number the 'tower presents us with, we have no way of knowing what percentage of df'ing is related to molestation versus, say, pre-marital sex.
hi folks,.
this is an excerpt from "when god becomes a drug" by father leo booth.
i thought it might be of interest.. the symptoms of religious addiction:.
I'd recommend this book, though a little heavy in the twelve-step talk.
On another note, I find this book infinitely more palatable than "Toxic Faith". It doesn't work exclusively from a christian perspective the way that "Toxic Faith" does.
anybody else watch it?
i so want to make my own ottoman now.
i have seen them do it a couple times it looks easy.
Yeah, the grass thing was a nightmare! I like Laurie's designs (the redhead) and I like Hildie's mellow designs but when she gets crazy it just never works. Anybody else think that the designer Doug comes off like a self-absorbed jerk? Frank likes his own artwork a little too much, in my opinion. If he were assigned to a room in my home I'd be disappointed. It'd be a bit to frou-frou for my taste.

g'day cyber junkets.. now this personality test is good, very good.. i would be very interested to see the results from most posters.. i came up a type 5, the investigator.
so accurate.. i can see simon as type 9, englishman as the definative 7, alan .
fur-burger is a natural 8 ( with a definite twist of 6 ), princess is a 4 through and through and naeblis, well....he thinks he is a 3 but he is really a hardcore 5.. well was i close ???.
detective is also "the investigator". How appropos! I have to admit I got a cheap thrill from finding out that I'm like Fox Mulder! yahoo!
(it listed me as a type five although it appeared I scored the same for type seven- go figure)
