  well the other thread has gotten long concerning the association of te wtbts and the un so i started this one here.

  i just got off the phone with a man in patterson concerning this issue and i will post most of convo here.. first of all if you do call beware they play kingdom melodies when you are on hold!.

  has anyone attempted to contact the press about the united nations scandal?

  as i've mentioned on an earlier thread, i am not in a position to notify the press myself but would like to contribute some information for those of you who might be interested in contacting the press.

  Hawk,
  I need your help. I am preparing a make-shift press release to send to my local papers. Again, if this is being handled by others, then I will refrain from doing it. Otherwise, we need to circulate the news before they have a chance to do damage control.

  I need:
  the phone number for the appropriate person to contact in Brooklyn Bethel.

  I need people who will be able to work as contacts for the press. I would like at least two people who are very familiar with the situation and would be willing to provide their email addresses and possibly name and phone numbers for the press (I'll take the email address to attach to the release so that we can get this out sonner rather than later).

  Hi,
  I am willing to draw up a make-shift press release to distribute to newspapers in my area. What I would need is people who are well-versed in this topic who would be willing to act as contacts should the press be interested.

  Are there people willing to be available to do this?

  I don't want to jump the gun if people already have this in the works, but if they do not I'd like to see this information be made available to the press.

  as some of you know jon had been undergoing cancer treatment since the end of july.

  I'm very interested in finding out if anyone has contacted the press on this issue? Can anyone confirm that this has been done or is anyone planning on doing this? In light of the Guardian article, now might be a good time to check in with each other to see what efforts are being done to bring this issue further into the public eye. I can't imagine the U.N. would be interested in publicizing this because it doesn't reflect well on them. Certainly, the tower wouldn't want it out. I seem to remember someone mentioning something about the press but I didn't hear anything further on the matter. Anybody got any news on whether this will hit the news?
