  i just drove past my local kh at 10:30 wednesday oct 18 and there was at least 60 cars in the parking lot.

  the parking lot is always empty on wednesday mornings but not today.. i had to marvel at the supreme control the wts has over it's members.

  the last time i saw a turn out like this was just after the boxing day tsunami.

  here's another article showing how loving jehovah's only channel in the universe is towards their fellow man.

  on page 26 of the november 15th craptower study, there's a lovely study article called always accept jehovah's discipline.

  in reality, we all know it's really saying "never question the governing body'sdiscipline".. it's starts out with the predicable "no discipline seems for the present to be joyous but grievous", blah, blah, blah.

  God's servants study the bible and Christian publications. Jehovah's standards are discussed at their meetings, assemblies, and conventions. So Christians are in a position to know what Jehovah requires of them. Disfellowshipping takes place only if a member....unrepentantly engages in gross sin.

  aint i a clever bastard?

  i worded that there thread title so's i get you to read this and help my poor forgetful, used to remember, brain out and show me some documentation using jw's vs. christendom teachings on this question.

  here's the question.. how do you prove to a jehovah's witness that the "great crowd" spoken of in the book of revelations is a group who's eternal hope is a "heavenly one" rather than a "seperate" group of jesus followers with a seperate eternal residential destiny?.

  The modern day "great crowd" is Rutherford's finest invention that saved the WTS from certain doom. He called them the "great multitude" in 1935. In the early days, persons that were saved by grace other than being annointed were refered to as the "millions now living will never die". As early as 1918 the "millions now living" refered to the masses of ungodly persons who were considered saved by good works alone. To be saved in 1918 a person did not have to be part of a religious organization. According to currrent WTS doctrine, the great crowd ARE these "millions now living" and the great crowd is exclusively made up of JWs.

  This means the ungodly masses can no longer be saved by grace.

  So the doctrinal flaw is that the Jws are the only class that can be saved by grace and folks we all know that ain't true

  first of all i would like to show you what the bible says about "flase prophets": deuteronomy 18:20. .

  20 "however, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word that i have not commanded him to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die.

  The "generation" teaching - just to clarify!

  sorry to be a major pain in the ass - but could those " in the know " clear something up for me?.

  is the " generation " teaching that was redefined during 1995 still taught to " interested ones " or have the wtbts totally removed this generation idea from their new literature, which is used to indoctrinate a person leading up to baptism?.

  any enlightenment welcome.
