  what does one do with their old placement literature.

  it looks like a kingdom hall book room around here, and i don't know how to get rid of the stuff, other than a midnight "drop and run" at the local kh.

  not the most desirable option, as the kh is guarded by some old circuit servants in an apartment.. odrade

  i have been lurking through this sight for about a month now and have found it to be wonderful!

  i would like to say right off- i am not a baptized witness-i am not a publisher- i do not have family in the borg-nor do i have friends there either- i just study with the jw's.

  at 1st i thought "wow- these people really know their stuff- this is great!

  i came in peace, and was shit on by my aunts and a cousin.

  There are many great books out there on the subject. My favorite are the Scott Cunningham books and Bucklands Complete Guide to Witchcraft (big blue book). You can also surf the internet and find great web sites to give you more information for free.

  I've been Wiccan for 6 yrs but practiced magick with my family since I was a young kid. Casting spells to do harm is not what we're about. We believe in the laws of Karma and 3 fold. If you do something good it comes back to you 3 times. If you do something bad, it comes back to you 3 times.

  Any legitimate Witch, Wiccan, or Magician would not even think about doing the spell you suggest. It is not up to us to punish people with magick, it is up to a higher being.

  The "good news" gives me the blues

  yesterday i got back from a blues festival and was feeling pretty good, pretty good that is until i decided to read a little tract that some people were handing out to the joyful crowd.

  i saw the cross on the cover page with the phrase god loves you so i knew it was a religious tract of some kind before i stuck it into my pocket, but it wasnt until i got home and really looked at it that i noticed just how utterly offensive this tract really is.

  WT Books Going Missing

  i recently visited my local library looking for books on jws.

  checking the computer system i found that pretty much all the 'anti' books had been marked as 'lost'.

  I'm sure many anti- religion books go missing in libraries. Mormons, Scientologist, Moonies, etc are probably doing the same thing. You would think Librarians would expect this and try to contact the last person who took the book out.
