the august, 2003 issue of electric space craft, a scientific journal, contains an amazing series of images taken from nasa footage included in the tv program, nova: to the moon.
the significance of the images has only recently been noticed.

Who Wrote The Bible
by stillajwexelder ini have just finished reading for the 2nd time "who wrote the bible" by friedman and american professor but first published in london.
he gives solid evidence that the pentateuch was written by 4 writers who are called j, e, p and d --- and so on -- traditionally of course written by moses.
my question is 2-fold .

How weird is this????
by worldly girl ini've been busy lately, so i've not been able to post... but i had to share this with you all and get your imput.....
ok so yesterday i was getting my nails done(yes i'm one of those girls!!
) and my cell phone rings, it's one of my ex jw friends lisa... she's calling to see if i'll go to a "chip n dales" show with her in a couple of weeks.

A few years ago there was a big cocaine bust in the Amish community in Pennsylvania. A well known motorcycle gang called the Pagans were selling cocaine to Amish teenagers. Here is a link to the story

In many ways the Amish remind me of the Witnesses. Teenage boys and girls are allowed to sow their oats before baptism. If they break any rules once baptised, they are disfellowshipped and shunned. They also have the same attitude toward "worldly" people as do the JW's. A few news shows exposed their child molestation problems too.
