ok i think the best way to go about this is make this a david vs goliath issue.

we should email every news outlet/online outlet we can think of.

attach a copy of the email sent and make some bad publicity for pbs.

PM me to coordinate a YouTube channel project. All you have to do is set up YouTube, Metacafe, Google or oher video-share accounts and be prepared to upload Watchtower Comments videos.

Received via Watchtower Comments YouTube Channel:

Your "Watchtower Comments" videos are illegally using copyright-protected footage from KNOCKING, a documentary broadcast on PBS. The introduction to all your videos uses the same clip from KNOCKING of a woman raising her hand during the Watchtower study in a Kingdom Hall. You do not have permission to use this footage. Please delete it from your videos, as well as any other footage you may have taken from KNOCKING. You use of the footage does not pass "Fair Use" standard and violates U.S. Copyright law. We will ask YouTube to block these videos if the illegally obtained footage is not removed.

Thanks for all your advice. The real sticking point is that YouTube does not allow you to replace videos under the same link. You must reload new videos. All comments and view statistics start from zero. I can easily revise the originals and repost. We'll see.

Watchtower Comments was designed to be nomadic and is prepared for this. At this point I am putting out the call for help, pick one and pitch in!

Create YouTube channels and be able to upload Watchtower Comments videos. Channels should be 'disposable.'
Film stock footage for Watchtower Comments. I am looking for meetings, service, street work. Has to look right, no goatees!
Film your own video response to this issue and post your video on YouTube and elsewhere. Make some noise!

The "illegal" copyright is a 3 second clip in the intro of every WT Comments video (showing a black woman lowering her hand at a meeting).
