its the generation thing here. i'm sure of it. because saturday morning cartoons and fields service go hand and hand. You watch them while getting ready. well in my case while your mother clothes you. You were denied a RADIO! ok so i could care less about a radio when growing up. The radio was mostly a car thing. My mom knows words to songs that i dont even know. We listen to decent music tho. Kingdom melondies on Sunday morning, by choice. Actually Saturday morning since Katrina but thats another story. I was too little to remember when we used to celebrate Christmas so i only remember not celebrating it. Birthdays??? I like being special and not participating in things like that. We have big parties for anniversaries and graduations. Talent showS!!! picnics. AOOOHHHH conventions were always a big thing even when we were to poor to go out of state or even city. We had fun. I'm the weird kid though because up until recently i didnt have one friend in the truth. I have tons of friends at school. I guess because i dont have that much knowledge of the truth and i mostly taught my self i was shy arround them. I was shy at school also up until high school. i dunno whats up or down. But i'll be leving for college in October. And i hope to meet some good friends their. A new start has always been good for me.

missed out
by aoxo inbecause i grew up in the truth i missed out on a whole lot of kids at school that i could have been great friends with.
also a couple of girls that i could have had a first relationship with.
i missed out on family moments each year exchanging gifts with relatives that i could have enjoyed (or not enjoyed) seeing during holidays.

I can’t believe no one answered you.
1. If I want to send a prayer through Jesus name, what is a sentence that does this?
I say my prayer blahblah blah get me out of jail blah blah "in Jesus Christ name I pray to you amen"
That’s what I say. It’s not written in stone or any thing but just remember that you are praying to Jehovah but you only have this opportunity because Jesus died so you are praying through Jesus. At least this is my understanding.
2. If a homeless person prays for a job, would God give that man a job?
Put your burdens on Jehovah and he will help you. If the man is sincere in his prayer then, yes. I seem to only remember to pray when I’m in trouble which is sad. But dude prayer helps. And I just can’t deny that.
3. How do I know my prayers to God are being listened by God?
Jehovah hears all prayers. But I do remember hearing somewhere your prayers could be hindered. I don’t know the circumstances of that but God is such a forgiving one I’m sure you would have to be unrepentant or something. I don't mean like you hit that kid and you meant to and you’re not taking it back. Something more like you killed that chick and to justify it you killed that man and those two chicks and you don’t care what anyone thinks and if they get near you, you wanna kill them too.
I don’t really see why a person like that would want to talk to God but he might and I really can’t even say that HE wouldn't listen to their prayer. -

ymca and christianity
by aoxo inok so when i was leaving i wanted to check out the local y and do some classes but i was always warned by so many people and articles in the w&a that they were tied in with churches and paying for a membership would be like giving money to other churches.
i tried to look up that info from the quotes in older w&a's and couldn't even find the book that was quoted.
i even grilled the people at the y and repeatedly asked if it was or ever had been affiliated with a particular church.

Seriously what are yall parents teaching you. There are things to get mad about with being a JW but this certainly isnt one of them. For three years straight i attended the YMCA and no one at the Kingdom Hall looked down on it. I'm so surprised to see this here. I learned how to swim and lost a great deal of weight. Heck i was commended for going. No wonder their is such hostility here. You all need some southern hospitality JWs around yall. and i send 10 cents a day to some little african kid and he writes me letters about how he can go to school now and whatnot. And we donate clothes to thrift stores founded by Vetrans but i dont care about vetrans because i see poor people shoping their and who ever it directly supports mattters to me. Never let any one tell you that Jehovah doesnt want you to help the ones in need. Thats just stone bull. You know what is right, you know what is wrong. You ahve a good heart let it dirrect you to do good things.
