have you ever gotten slapped and dragged into the back room for a spanking because your mother or father accused you of pulling your skirt up during the meeting?
i was thinking of the little girls outgrowing their dresses and them becoming so short that it was hard to sit 2 hours with the skirt pulled down over your knees or just above, at the very least.
my sister's and my dresses were always too short when we sat down and could only keep them pulled down to a decent length when standing, not sitting.

i don't know about anyone else but this could be the source of major contention between dubs in my halls.
you had those who started their time as soon as you pulled out of the hall parking lot (me), those who counted from the first knock at the door or laundry mat visited, and the die hards who didn't start until they actually spoke to someone(my sister).
my sister and i would go round and round about this, i finally just pretended to start my time when she did just to shut her up.
I covered this on your other posting, my wife studied with a deaf person via MSN and was told to count the time.

can anyone help me find an article giving info on whether witnesses are allowed to "count" time witnessing online?
i know a km from '99 that basically says jws should spend time with their brothers and sisters instead of being online.
i'm looking for something specific.
My wife studied with a deaf person online using MSN, she was allowed to count the time.

to ink or not to ink that was the question!.
the build up.
i was really excited about it and got up early to salute to the sun, cat to the ceiling and baby to the carpet (yoga).
Very nice, just on one of your 'love handles', make sure to use the 'Savlon' twice a day.
Are you having another? to match on the other side!
Ancient of days speaking!

(clam here is the promised fluff thread - but you know it will probably degenerate into an intellectual discussion about pagan festivals - like my posts so often do!
so how will you all be honoring the goddess astarte or was it istoreth?
will you be devouring chocolate eggs - with their heavy pagan influences?

i haven't missed a memorial since i started attending over 50 years ago.
tonight i was expecting the hall to be jambed as usual.
i sat in the 5th row from the front and from where i sat, i could see 31 empty seats--there may have been more.
I went, as usual had to wait for KH to be opened, lucky it wasn't raining!
More than usual there, but that is not surprising is it?
Probably the most famous KH in the world, at the moment!!

After serving for several years as pastor of Baptist churches in Little Falls, New York, and Chelsea, Massachusetts, he became, in 1846, editor of the "Christian Reflector" in Boston. On the union of this paper with "The Watchman," in 1848, he took editorial control of the consolidated journals, and continued in that post until 1877. In 1878 he established "The Watchtower," a Baptist journal in New York, but subsequently returned to "The Watchman," of which he is now editor-in-chief.

i'm looking to plant a new tree in my garden and wonder if there's anyone out there in jwd land who can give me some advice.
the area is pretty sunny and quite sheltered although we do have strong winds around here in the winter.
it also sometimes freezes.
Why bother!
Armageddon's coming!

they already allow people to listen in via the phone... why not this!
www.streamingfaith.com is a service that allows one to "go to church" via streaming video!
on a side note.... google search for "god": 432,000,000. google search for "sex": 446,000,000. oh my!
Should be good, had last years memorial via the phone when the wife was sick.
Useless, can only hear what the speaker on the platform said.
The JW's would mess up a video link I bet.
Going in person to memorial later on, they will love to see me there
