by smellsgood insince you said you had been reading this board for at least a few weeks, and didn't have a problem researching things online, i'm surprised that it seems you've cut and run so soon!
did you change your mind, perhaps decided it was too contrary to your beliefs for you to handle?
were you surprised at the reactions you got?

Do You Love Your Neighborhood Market?

I'm jealous. We gots this honky tonk mini store at the corner, hardly a market. Usually battered and bruised produce, ugh, the biggest variety of choices is in the beer section. There are no outdoor markets in the nearby chitty.
I love Seattles markets though. I love especially Trader Joes, which isn't exactly a market either. But they are really very inexpensive, and have my most favourite thing...flattened bananas, no entendre intended. They're called "nothing but banana...flattened," with like five for 89 cents! -

Yes indeed Poppers, it would be most prudent.
I don't think he/she really left, I think they're just not posting. Everyone knows this board is incredibly alluring.
So, once more, I'll just plead to MutualRespect, I would be mega chuffed if you were to reply at all, just to say farewell publicly even. It would be so thoughtful of you. :) -

I Know, almstwntbk didn't ya?
I was fixin' to vistit www.watchtower.borg to request my free Watchtower and AWAKE! study. Now my motivation is gone. Kinda like the generation who were 15 in 1914.
Now what am I supposed to do if I want to know about the Bible? It's not like reading it on my own will do any good. If I were to do something as foolish as that, I might mistake Proverbs 4:18 as a moral comparison, worse yet, I might understand Jesus' words about the faithful and wise servant as a Parable, not a prophecy about a group of men in Brooklyn. I'm lost! -

"I don't believe that statement for one minute. How often did we as JWs go door to door telling them that Jehovah's Witnesses have an open mind, and are not afraid to have open and candid discussions regarding our faith."
I'm telling you MutualRespect, if you weren't being straight about you honestly researching your beliefs, how am I supposed to have any confidence in you honestly proseltyzing your beliefs??
What is that tactic, some kind of "theocratic warfare"?? -

Oh, man, I thought she was a dude.
Anyways, I suppose everyone here felt that warm WT embrace for a brief moment, now that gentle breeze of marketing WT authoritarianism has blown away. It was kind of her to remind us, in case we had forgotten exactly WHO had THE TRUTH.
I do want Mutual to come back, I'd love it if she'd agree to go through point by point with me the doctrines of the WT. -

Physically?
I have a real attraction to guys with brown hair, and especially brown eyes. A certain edgy, disheveled brown haired brown eyed guy, tall.
If they don't have good style, I'll be less likely to be attracted to them. I like them to have style like Johhny Depp, or Scott Weiland.
I can tell you what I'm NOT attracted to style wise. The frat boy look *ugh* it really is a turn off to me. You know, the long slogan t-shirts, the multipocketed khaki, or brown, or khaki long shorts, wearing either flip flops or those what I call "Calvin" shoes that are bulky with their ankle socks. Or my most unfavorite, a short sleeved collared shirt with open with a t-shirt underneath. Sometimes they wear a cap, which just makes them look worse to me.
Sorry if any guys are offende, but maybe you need to start shopping somewhere else. :) There ARE really nice clothes, I like the thrift store pieces mixed w/ designer pieces. Really nice jeans or pants, and a good jacket, and not a damn slogan t-shirt, or striped, or even monochrome.
I also am very turned off by too muscular guys. I think it looks gross. A Brandon Boyd lithe and muscular but not buff is about right. -
