  i was all aboard the mccain train.

  but seeing sarah palin generally spew the same accusations which had been refuted or put into context, reaaalllly bugged the hell out of me.. its odd, because i've seen biden and i'd gotten the impression (which remains true of him) that he was a longwinded, pedantic old geezer.. besides that, i need specifics, i'm not interested in fluffy vague generalized statements, i need precision, facts.

  the thing that got me the most is finally i am hearing about intervention in darfur, sudan.

  I just gave 2 Mormon Elders Hell!

  oh man, 2 mormons were walking on my road as i was driving home from work, i stopped them, asked them firstly why in the world they were walking on a dirt road in their suits where the houses are hundreds of yards apart, and then to come back to my house.

  wow, it was so interesting to see the hundreds of mormon articles i've been reading in prep for talking to the jw (who had to cancel on me to go on a trip, plus i'm kinda wary about talking to her now, as i know this will sound silly, but her mom and fam stopped by the coffee shop, and i know my boss the owner cannot afford the loss of customers...who knows how many of them are witlesses!

  anyways, one was from utah, one from texas....the parroting and the language that was so present in those articles was dumbly flung at me willy nilly in adverse to my arguments.

  i feel like a thief for the first time, um, having perhaps but not admittedly downloaded a few, many or none free musical tidbits here and there, or not,, .

  i feel like a thief for downloading "in rainbows" and horridly pressing 00.00 for the price i had chosen to pay.

  Anyone have a spare Crisis of Conscience?

  for one thing, i gave mine away awhile ago.

  for another, i'm working at this coffee place now where my boss has two bookshelfs full of books that are just for taking (take some, bring some).

  i can't think of a better book to bring than crisis of conscience, but i'm poor and don't have a way to get like five or six or eight of them.

  man do i wish i could highlight and underline on this board.

  i've been spending timeon lds.org looking up references to their being the "true religion.

  i was surprised at how many thousands of articles contained the words i searched for, i only got through so many before my head started hurting.

  A deflating talk with my brother re: anti-witnessing,,,,thoughts?

  **edited to say, my brother is not a jw, never has been, nor have any of my family.

  i'm referring to jw's i don't know who came to the door finally (i posted about it a couple weeks ago in personal experiences) i was just talking to him about it because he got word of it and doesn't like the idea of it** .

  talking to my brother today, he doesn't like the idea of me getting involved debating with jw's (i've done this plenty, just not in person:).

  Need help finding articles: Propaganda

  i searched on here and on google, but i couldn't find that wonderful wt article describing the tactics of the propagandist.

  which described themselves so eloquently.

  anyways, i would appreciate anyone posting that article, a scan would be nice if possible.
