  Oh Katiekitten. lol. You cheered me up after lancashire lost to Sussex in the cricket. Apparently here are two fleshly miserable jw sisters who live round the corner from me. I should have pointed the police in their direction. Threatening people with their cult. The police have finally gone after 3 1/2 hours of doing house to house enquiries.

  I've been contented all day until an hour ago. The police have blocked off the streets near my house, because someone had a gun to his held head. police still there now.

  Brother pain in the ass wants to come and visit

  my wife told me she had been asked by a bother (elder type) in the congregation wanted to come by and visit me.

  i told her thats fine as long as he doesn't bring anyone else with him and its not just right after he is out in service as i don't want to be used to garner time.

  if he is really interested in being nice then come on by, but if not, not to waste his or my time by bringing someone else with him, if i don't know them they aren't welcome in my home, end of discussion.

  Why is it you always get an elder asking if they can give you a friendly visit, but they bring along another jerky elder and then it becomes a shepherding visit? I was in hospital about nine years ago, and an elder ask if he could visit with another elder. He didn't like it when I refused, and told him via my wife if two elders happen to show their faces while I'm in my jim-jams, trying to shepherd me in my sick bed, I'll throw the urine bottle over their heads or get my visiting fleshly brothers to do it.

  lookie what i just got today from a friend who just got back from england:.

  makes number 13 in my collection.

  so far i have, hollywood, la jolla, san deigo, las vegas, aspen, honolulu, new orleans, orlando, phoenix, nashville, athens and madrid.. i ask everyone i know who's traveling to get me one of these plus the ones i get myself while traveling.. does anyone else here collect from hard rock cafe?

  i've been lurking here and reading for a couple of months now.

  i was also a jw for a few years but got myself dfed when i started asking difficult questions, wouldn't stop asking them, and kept pointing out how the wts didn't make any sense.

  i am an unrepentent rebellious one who was warned and publically reproved until finally i finally had it out with the elders and they showed me the door.

  i find this forum immensely therapeutic.

  posters here have helped me with personal issues as well as historical, religious, evolutionary, etc.

  i think this is the best psychiatric forum for xjws anywhere, kinda like my own personal shrink!.

  In some ways yes. I realised that a lot of good people had their lives destroyed by this organisation, and by reading their experiences, helped me on the road to recovery.

  without attacking anyone for their beliefs, feel free to state what you believe in right now.. personally, i still believe in a higher power, a creator, call him jehovah if you wish, a god that will put things back right eventually.

  No matter what happened to me in this cult, I've never let it destroy my believe in god or the bible. This doesn't mean I look down on somebody else's believes or opinions, I try to live a good life and look out for people's welfare.
