  i am marion, a friend of fullofdoubtnow (linda), and i have just disassociated from jehovahs witnesses.

  i was only announced a couple of days ago, after a lifetime of association.

  linda has posted about me before, but it's wonderful to be able to post in my own right, and i am really looking forward to getting to know you all.. i am 59 years of age, 60 in november, and have been a jw all my life, baptised since 1961, and i thought i would always be a witness, but i now know absolutely that it isn't the truth.

  Here comes Crunch Time - pray or somethin'

  well, my mum is going on the musuem tour this weekend.... she is going to do two different tours, one of them being the tour that will include information regarding jerusalems destruction.. please, ya know just hope or if you can pray for my mum and lets see what happens.

  i don't know if i should say anything to her before she goes that would open her eyes to certain things?.

  either way, depending on how this ends after a chat on her return it will be the end of my trying to help her i think, not sure.

  I've been on those trips with the congo. Absolute rubbish they are. So bias for the wts view point. Since we know your mum very well Karl, our thoughts will be with her, and hope she can see through all the bs.

  What Dub Habits have you kept?(On accident or on Purpose?)

  i think that when you are in a cult like the dubs, things stick with you whether you want them to or not.

  i still pray before meals and bedtime...anybody else?

  Like Blondie not saying Jehovah has been the most successful. Before I stopped going to I actually got pulled up by one elder who criticized me for saying god too often.

  Still won't vote, grow a beard, only drink in moderation. Don't celebrate Christmas, etc. Still call it the truth even if it's BS. I make sure myself and wife are up, washed shaved ( legs in her case), eaten before 9am. It'll take a while to deprogram myself.

  i had an idea that i could build a uk map of everyones location which would show you instantly who is in your area from jwd.. (it might be an idea to do a seperate us one aswell but i'll wait and see if this one takes off first, or if anyone from the us wants to volunteer to do that one).

  (and australia but you are all in the same backyard anyway - literally!!!).

  anyway, all you have to do is post or email me your username and town and i will draw you on the map above which will change gradually to include everyone!.

  Does it really matter? I have a degree, my wife has GCSE's. She's smarter than me in some areas, I'm in others. Years ago I was quite a chauvinists, because my mother was a feminists, now I see it as mindless stupidity.
