You're gonna love it. I read it in 3 days. Would have finished sooner but had to read it at work. Wifey would have killed m if she saw that book in the house. The 2nd time I highlighed points of interest (almost the whole book). And even now I go back and review it weekly. Just to keep me strong. Let us know how you enjoyed it. Even though we already know the answer.

after much deliberation, i decided to go "out" at the end of a public talk.
it didn't go down too well, but at least i was able to give some of my reasons for leaving.. i've put some of the details on my homepage.

there was one guy in the congregation who was (and still is) a homosexual.
Any PERSON could harm a child. Male or Female straight or gay. What is your rationale for not trusting your child with any MAN. Please explain.

I could have written your post word for word. I feel exactly the same way sometimes. Just this past weekend I was telling my wife all about the doubts I was having and I was just asking her a few questions about the Truth. Now this was on Saturday night. Sunday at the meeting the talk was about faith and not doubting Jehovahs org. Putting faith in the Faithful and Discreet Slave and on and on. You know the deal.
Then after the meeting I go to a gathering with about 50 dubs. I know them all and have known them for more than 20 years. Everyone is so happy to see me and we talk and we laugh. Then I began to reason that its not that bad, I could do this for the rest of my life. I can compromise for myself and my family.
Then today I sign on here and BOOM. I see your post and read the responses and once again I feel good about myself and the course I'm taking.
So thank you Flower and everyone that responed. You've helped me greatly.

jehovahs witnesses are under a grand and multi-faceted illusion that has been fabricated and is being maintained by the society.
one such facet of that great illusion is that jws are actually proclaiming gods kingdom and teaching people the truth about god and jesus.

i noticed in a couple of threads people discussing the impact this board would have on jw's with doubts coming here and reading the messages.
it got me to wondering where most people that post here were at...what stage in their jw/ex jw process...when they started reading and/or posting here.
also curious, when you did come here what was your main focus?
I still go to the meetings. I started having doubts. Posted on another site. Someone from that site e-mailed me about this one. Read Crisis of Conscience then I knew. Now I'm doing the slow fade.
This place is great it has helped me alot.
