Megaflower, I had to laugh because of my family history.
My Moms side of the family 3 generations of JW's did and still have a swearing problem.
My dad, who came in during his late teens...I never heard a swear word from him in his life, and he use to be quite appalled at the language from my mom's family....and my mom!
Funniest scenario, My mom was pretty upset in traffic about another driver who seemed to be torturing her, .....she flipped him the bird....(it was the wrong finger)!!!!! I still laugh to this day about it.

I've never tried natural make up products, but try to buy those that are not tested on animals. If you know of some good ones, please post them.
I use a lot of natural products around the house though. Use a lime or lemon cut in to quarters and a cup of salt to clean and refresh your sink disposal.
To unclog a drain use 1 cup salt and 1 cup baking soda, pour 2 cups boiling water over. Works pretty well.
I use the "Shark" steamer to do all my tile floors, grout and bathrooms. All it takes is good old tap water, it does a better job than, bleach, ammonia, etc., and makes stainless steel absolutely sparkle. Absolutely no scrubbing involved.
If you ever watch "How Clean is your House?" On the BBC channel they always have great tips on using natural products to clean.
I'd love to switch over to a salt water system for my swimming pool. Cheap once you've done it, but the equipment is costly. I hate having to deal with all the chlorine. 4 gallons of concentrated liquid a week, and tablets so powerful it makes your eyes water.

I can't believe it. Was Christ questioned when he was baptized or anyone for that matter back then? Was Russel or Rutherford or Knorr?
Shame, shame, shame on this farce of a religion, asking if someone is sick with a permanent disease.
Shame on them, for questioning some one's heart felt want to be baptized, AND question their knowledge, not of the bible but of their diatribe of man made rules and regulations.
If this doesn't spell C U L T....I don't know what does.

"Old School" Elders
by xelder inin the last few years that i served as an elder, and as i was discovering what the wts really was, the term "old school" would be used and it began to bother me more and more.
it was usually used to praise a person with a mean, unwaivering, dogmatism to an obselete policy.
a couple of times i would ask the person what he meant by the term.

3 years ago, my mother, at 72 years old, was still worrying about associating with me after I was 35 years out.. I had done nothing but support her, my fathers death, her pioneering, position on various subjects, financial support to the society, and help with everything since my dad died.
For some reason she got it in her head, I was not really worthy because I had been raised in the truth, left it at 18, and smoked cigarettes.
A very young CO came through and told her SHUN THE SHIT OUT OF HER. (MY WORDS) BUT THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.
I received the most ridiculous shunning letter you have ever seen.
Some day, I will have the nerve to post it here....it is revealing and shocking. Probably one of the most revealing documents into the witnesses you have ever read.
On my birthday, my mother, handed me that letter and said she could not have contact with me again.
ARGGG....this is enough for now in reference to OLD SCHOOL JACKASSES.

I'm starting to tell on my husband
by tiffy0212 inyesterday a brother called the house and asked for my husband.
i told him i'm sorry he is doing his study and i will not call him to the phone.
i told him we do not talk to each other and he would have to call him back around 11:30. he called back around 11:40 and sure sounded different then his first call.

Christ, this makes me mad. People like this remain elders while I get thrown out and I never laid a hand on my wife...
It really stinks sometimes...and this is what happens to women a lot!!!!!! They never lay a hand on anyone either, but need to wind up defying their controlling , abusive husbands.....just to survive!
