gas to hit $7 a gallonby marty jeromeapril 29, 2008 | 2:00:00 pmcategories: alt fuel, business, finance, fuel economy, policy, post-petroleum.
both qatar's oil minister and the head of opec can see oil hitting $200 a barrel before the end of the year and one analyst says gas could reach $7 a gallon within four years.
but this seems to explain part of what's happening with the price of oil.
Wish it was that cheap over here!

it has become unreal in our small hick town.
people are ripping out water lines in new homes before they are even finished, contractors are losing their minds.... our house has a walk out basement, garage combo with two huge windows.
all our water lines are copper and visible thru the windows... we're afraid we'll come home one day and they'll all be gone.... air conditioners have become a prime target.
Do you know our copper coins (1p & 2p) are now only copper plated steel. This is due to the fact that the weight of the old copper coin is worth more than the face value!

jws are obsessed with sex and sexual sins.
the elders are specifically told what classification a sexual sin falls into.
touching the breasts, genitals, looking at porn, looking at various types of pornography, kissing, petting-----you name it----it is technically classified so that the elders know which charge they can hit you with judicially.. even if you're married, the watchtower disapproves of certain consensual sex acts.
Masturbation forbidden with your spouse? I didn't know that.

My neighbours kid has got into drugs just lately and got out of control. He's been caught stealing the stuff. He breaks into empty houses and factories and rips out the copper piping. Reckons he gets 4 sterling ($9) per kg (2.2llb). The dealers turn a blind eye to the fact that it is obviously piping and he brings it in by the suitcase.

i went to an aa meeting tonight for the first time in a few weeks.
after about 6 weeks of attempting to control my drinking in a social way, i feel that it best to go the abstinence route as i wasn't really enjoying it.. anyway i got to thinking afterwards whether jw's are allowed to go to them?
i have heard how some elders disaprove of them because it's classed as a spriitual program.
Part of the sentence?
IMO I think forcing someone into AA and them being there against their will could have a negative effect on those that really want to be there.

join me in welcoming az something (sorry too many numbers) !!!!!.

momzcrazy.
Welcome from the UK AZ. You see we are all over the place!
I have put a message on the original thread too. I saw your video, really moving. Don't worry about all those nasty comments you get there. For every one you get there, you'll get 10 nice ones here!

Thanks BB for that Awake quote.
Minimus, that doesn't happen over here. If someone is ordered by the court it is usually some therapy under the supervision of probation. AA is not ordered by the courts in the UK at present.

jehovahs witness refuses to let husband have life-saving blood transfusionby lucy cockcroft last updated: 6:42 am bst 06/06/2008 the wife of a man who is critically ill in hospital has refused to let doctors give him a life-saving blood transfusion because he is a jehovahs witness.john edwards, 57, suffered severe injuries when a motorist suspected of drink-driving knocked him over and medics have warned he could only have days to live if he does not have the transfusion.. but his wife sheila said he has signed a form banning any blood transfusions in the event of an accident or illness, because their religion forbids it.. it is believed she is rejecting repeated pleas from doctors hoping to change her mind.. the couple's sons, jonathan, 36 and tom, 29, do not share their beliefs and it was unclear last night whether they supported their mother's decision.. a family source said: "sheila is adamant that john must not have blood.
she says giving him a transfusion would be like assaulting him, and he wouldn't want to live knowing he had disobeyed his god.. "she is in a terrible state, constantly in tears at his bedside, but won't give in to requests from anyone.
her sons are both with her but her position hasnt budged.".
Ive read about this in today's Sun. It turns out the wife cannot find his blood card, which is why the hospital is in a dilemma, therefore the wife can actually sign for it and the hospital will go ahead. The guys internal organs are damaged, they will not operate without blood.
