  What is the most objectionable thing you have heard off the platform?

  i know many have quoted ridiculous statements from the assemblies etc., i just wonder what irked you most off of the platform in your own kh.. the one that sticks out in my mind was when we had a guest speaker on a sunday for the public talk.

  i don't remember the theme but his main point was the starving people in africa did not need food.

  he stated they needed spiritual food and would opt for that over a meal because they realize they could eat in the new order and there was no need to send any donations directly.

  That sounds pretty bad, and not many will top it.
  
  I walked out of the Kingdom hall after hearing a brother say "The bible alone is not enough".
  
  Imagine all the poor souls for thousands of years before the WT bible and tract society existed that are going to experience that skull shattering horror of death crushing their brains when Armageddon comes in it's cataclysmic force to wipe out billions who never read an Awake article on how to squeeze breast milk.

  Never trust brothers you don't know!

  well, i broke it to my super devout parents that after this i don't believe there is any reason why i should trust any 'brother' i don't know around my kids.. no way, no how!.

  they had to admit this was pretty shocking and enlightening but they still ended up making excuses.

  the society will soon have to drop the 'we are better than everyone else' argument for sure.

  Yes Candidly Nuts, I know why you posted it. Nothing wrong with your post. The replies though that some people give are examples of lack of intelligence in the human race. People's emotions immediately take over and the ape like tendancies (George W syndrome) kick in, and it's "shoot to kill" time... I don't understand how people can immediately think "prison" for this woman, who hopefully as the rights of all Americans would be considered innocent until a proper court of law decides the outcome of the situation (thankfully that is still in tact) and not the psychos like myself on the internet... Prison is a horrible place for anyone to go, and anyone that wishes prison on anyone is obviously judgmental and has very little heart or room for forgiveness. I truly believe and hope for the time when God removes all the defects of character for everyone, and sets people free. Out of love. Boo

  most people would probably tell me i am gross, too, and most of you would probably not even want to hear it so i guess that i am better off not sharing it here.

  how should matters be handled when a householder insists that jehovahs witnesses make no further calls at that home?.

  when we encounter a sign at the door that strictly prohibits calls of a religious nature and specifically mentions jehovahs witnesses, it may be best to respect the householders wishes and avoid knocking.. .

  Seriously buffalosrfree, why would you say that about prison for the parents? Why does everyone's ego take over right away when something like this happens? Put everyone in prison...we're all sinners..

  Mixed feelings about this...
  
  How would you like it if your son or daughter was going to be kept for injections that you are not totally sure of at a hospital that you don't totally trust, and someone tells you they are going to do it without your consent?
  
  How do we know anything about this case? Maybe one of the doctors tried to sexually assault this woman? Maybe the hospital is in filthy condition? WHo knows???
  
  These kinds of things are the very things I think should be left to the minds of those handling it, and not us...
  
  Why should the parents go to prison? because they love their child and want whats best for them?
  
  Silly human race...
  
  We don't even know if they are JW's do we? Even if they are, it's a private matter between her, the hospital and law enforcement.
