a jw i used to know died recently.
she was almost exactly the same age as me - we were born just days apart.
she had battled cancer for almost a decade.
My condolences, Scully.
I had to BEG the BOE to have a memorial service for my df'd mother when mom and dad were killed in a car accident 11 years ago. The whole thing for the TWO of them didn't last more than 20 minutes, and NOTHING, (other than survivors, and the like), about them as people was discussed whatsoever. My non-jw relatives are still pissed over this. Real good "witness" Wacktower!!!

That is some messed ass logic if I ever heard it. What sort of a loving creator would destroy his creation based on a time-line? How is it fair that group A gets to leave and have as much fun as they can then come back and get saved, while group B leaves at a later time and because Jewhorevah decides its time for the end they all get lightning bolted? Scary that these people walk among us.

i just wanted to make one simple statement... i've heard many say that they can't get out of this bull, they just faded so they wouldn't have to deal with all the issues that are sure to arise if they use confrontation.
many have said they can't stand to lose family members and the like and that's why they've chasen to fade rather then speak out.

They sure are backpedeling, aren't they? Pretty much all but saying they are wrong about their blood stance. Using this logic I guess it would also be ok to drive a non-witness to use a prositiute.

don't ask me.... hormones raging through my body and ive done so many "disfellowshipping" offenses recently that its almost embarassing lol no actually i feel no regret ironically enough and havn't caused any pain for me or any otheres.
You're half my age, and making good decisions. Stick to it, you'll turn out better than many of us.

question from researcher: the other day you posted the australian peak publishers and i was wondering if it would be possible to post the numbers of the "memorial partakers" from 1935 to 2006. that would be about 72 years of totals.. my answer: yes, we can do that for you but it will take a few hours to get everything together and scanned.
i will have to use different forms of wt literature to accomplish this.. unless indicated otherwise, numbers listed show partakers for previous year and some could show: "still incomplete" but they are still listed as a total nevertheless.

Is that supposed to show that in over 40 years only 5000 of the anointed died? Or are so many of the anointed turning into the evil slave that there needs to be a never ending supply of refils?

i am looking for information on the beliefs of jehovah's witness i do not know much and i am afraid that most of what i am finding is biased information one way or the other.
i did find a "fact sheet" and i am wondering if all of it is true or not.
i looked at the watchtower website for answers to a few of these and so far i am finding them to be true.
All of the above are basically correct. Some are absolute, others are more of a strong suggestion that one is pressured into. Yes, in the jws, peer pressure is a big problem.
