  A "Brother" wore a WT logo tie tack today

  after the meeting, a few people came up to show me some fake love like the wt lesson instructed (this is my 4th meeting in a row in over a year of not going, yuck!!).

  i noticed one of them was wearing a tie tack of the watchtower logo.

  its ok to idolize, by wearing, the corporate symbol of a worldwide multi-billion dollar company, but a cross is wrong?

  Anger will come up at every meeting in seeing friends being tricked into beleiving all the crap from "God's Organization".

  Are you caught up in the American dream that you have to have a house?

  Don't buy a house, don't be materialistic, don't go to college, keep on paying rent all your life.

  In the US you might end up with $ 800-1400 a month from social security when you retire at 65.

  If you live in Southern California , in most places you have to pay at least $1200 a month for a small 2 bedroom.

  Oh yes, trust in Jehovah and the wise counsel of the GB, they will be there to pay your rent and gas bill!

  with april's rediculous generation renewal, the hyped 2012, then the 100th aniversary of 1914 two years later, the continued increase and spread of internet use, the age of the gb, and the lackluster of the rank n file, i give it 8-10 years before the whole show collapses.. .

  No matter how many scandals and doctrine flip-flop the Jw's will always worship the Gb

  and give credit to Jehovah for given them 'New Light" !

  just got this in, don't know if it was mentioned here yet, but this illustrates how the watchtower views/responds to emergencies.

  note the dig on university and "higher education" (especially sad for a poor country like haiti with poorly educated masses).. randy.

  Jehovah really does take care of us!! Monday we
  had propane and diesel deliveries--without the usual paper transaction,

  Interesting comment about jehovah and his angels being involved in this work when they had more than 100 brothers and sisters that lost their lives, many injured and lost all their possessions.

  Always curious why Jehovah does not protect his own .

  For the $30-40 millions that Rush gets every year he'll say anything to make waves and tickle the Republicans ears.

  He's an idiot and if he feels he's got the answer to all the problems in the US and the world

  why does he not run for office. I like to see how far he gets!

  Nine year old baptized

  this weekend at the circuit assembly, (i stayed home, thank goodness), i heard a nine year -old girl was baptized.

  and she seems a bit mature for her age, but hardly mature enough,in my opinion, to make such a choice on her own.

  it seems to be a trend in our circuit right now.

  Back in 1990 i saw a little 6 year girl getting baptized, i think it's sick allowing someone to get baptzed so early

  just because " she loves Jehovah" and is able to answer 80 questions.

  Let the "Tithing" begin!

  last night during the service meeting a letter was read indicating that more money was needed by jehovah's witnesses in order to expand the world-wide work .

  it was suggested that each publisher take a piece of paper and write down the amount of money they would be willing to give and hand it to the elders.

  it seems to be a cleverway to gather "seed money" by the organization while not calling it a "tithe.

  I would like to know why the watchtower needs money from publishers when they have sold and selling many of the buildings

  in Brooklyn and making not millions but billions?
