$40 ? No witness is going to contribute that kind of money.
Five at the most.
after considering several possible colors for the new bible the governing body finally lovingly decided on gray.

after all, they said, it will match the hair of everyone who waits for the promises of the watchtower to be fulfilled..

They always have to be different from everyone else....what is wrong with black?
at the meeting this week, there was a part about placing our trust in jehovah and not worrying about food and shelter (mat 6:33).
the part was based on the 2013 yearbook p138 and 139 where there were two examples:.
a family went to their convention leaving their chickens unattended for a number of days, worried about if they would survive.
All religions have the same stories of seeing the "hand of god" in their lives, not just JW's.
http://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/faq/are-jehovahs-witnesses-a-cult/.
"we don't follow men, we follow christ.".
but, if you say you believe in jesus but doubt the men.... your dfd.
Some think of a cult as being a dangerous religious sect with a human leader. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not look to any human as their leader. Rather, we adhere to the standard that Jesus set for his followers when he stated: “Your Leader is one, the Christ.”
Yes they do not look to one human leader, they look to eight of them.
Try to reason with a jw about their doctrines or rules and regulations that contradict the bible ...do they follow Jesus or the eight kings
in Brooklyn NY ?

They should learn from the Mormons...they preach their religion but they more than any other religion help their members and also outsiders with food and money to pay their rent or mortgage. I personally know 3 individuals that get their rent paid for by their Mormon church...as long you are in good standing with them they will take care of you when the need is there.
lol, just received this email:.
idiots!
you of weak minds that have chosen to leave the truth!
He'll be back...he's been infected by the apostate disease. We talk sense, the watchtower makes no sense.
there's a lot.
.
one that i just don't understand is that no one should hold hands during a prayer.. where the hell do they come up with these rules??
"One that I just don't understand is that no one should hold hands during a prayer." Have not been at a meeting for seven years and i guess this one is new to me.
so after the annual meeting, on sunday, the elders want to talk with my family.
i do not like this one bit.
perhaps i am being exposed.
Most likely is for encouragement and getting you guys to do more. Just listen and agree and don't do a thing they tell you.
this morning i wanted to force myself to throw up so i read a few pages from the 2013 yearbook.. and here's what you can read p.7.
"in this time of the end, gods people.
have to cope with many problems, challenges,.
Every time they mention the end of the world it makes me throw up. Life is good and better than ever.
zac's first tooth just fell out, and so people are telling him that the tooth fairy will come with money.
zac asked me if the tooth fairy is real.
i am at a loss as to what to say.
Let him live in fantasy world for a little while.
There is no religion involved and eventually on their own, as they grow up, they realize those things are just make believe and i personally have not heard causing any harm to anyone.
