  Has anyone researched the "Bethel" of the bible?

  i found this extremely appropriate.

  the meaning of bethel (which the wtbts will tell everyone) is house of god....yet in 1&2nd kings it talks of bethel turning bad and being full of false gods and being destroyed.

  (there is one part that says that they would let anyone in and make them a priest...no qualifications...just like at bethel) has anyone done studies on this?

  my partners brother is being released from state prison on 12/7 and jake has to go to huntsville to pick him up.

  i am cooking a big thanksgiving dinner and his mom wants me to duplicate it when the a**hole gets home and cook a big dinner for x-mas too.

  i get 1 day off a week and i am starting to resent being the fricking maid.

  ever since i told my two sisters that i was 'inactive' they've shown no interest in me - that was over five years ago and i mean no interest.

  i know other posters here have complained about family members trying to bring them back to the 'truth' but honestly i would quite welcome it.

  i mean, they're both pioneering and happy to knock on the doors of complete strangers but they never knock on mine.. what are they thinking of when they think of me?

  Yes it does. But remember, you are where you should be. Out of that F***ing cult. It's hard to miss family, but it's a damn site better that wasting your life with that bunch of life robbers. (the watchliar sociopath society). Move on bro, and experience what real life is all about. One day, you will be glad you did.

  after 13years of marriage, today it finally came to an end!.

  it felt very strange as i entered into the court room, my attorney on the right and hers on the left.

  we were the first group of 15 or 16 case to be heard today.

  Been there, done that, and didn't like the tee-shirt. You have my sympathies. The only thing I can share is that it will get better. Move on and look for he real Mrs. Right. I did and after 19 years of bliss, and 4 amazing children, I'm glad, and at peace with where I am. If I can be of any help, PM me.

  i don't believe in prayer now, but i could be wrong so would you give some good vibes for my grandson?

  he is 16 and they discovered a big growth on his lymph node near his heart and will operate on him monday afternoon.

  it could be cancer but i sure hope it isn't.

  i was at a funeral this weekend, the first time i'd been in a kingdom hall in 13 years, the talk was short about a half hour, and all jw stuff as expected, but the one part of the talk made me laugh, the speaker said :.

  "we (a group of elders), had the oppourtunity to speak with a member of the governing body at the assembly, and he said : "we the governing body are confident that armageddon is close, and are ready for jehovah's day, are you ready ???"".

  i couldn't believe my ears, they will never learn.

  Forgive me for upstaging, but at my grandmother's funeral, the dolt that gave the talk actually told the audience that the latest coppies of the Asleepand Watchwanker would be available to non-dubs at he back of the chapel. If my buds hadn't held me in my seat, I would have shit-kicked him into "his" new-system.
