give back sometheng to your community and the world we are in for now.
For some that 'giving back' is to keep others from joining the cult of the wt. Or to help others escape. It is possible to have a life AND try to keep others from something as dangerous as the wt. There are many here who volunteer their time to worthy causes, give blood, help their neighbors and still keep up with the shenanagins of the wt.

every where you live, the local area has something about it that is either famous for something good or something bad.
as an example, you go to one town and it may have the historial site of a famous war battle.
you go to another an it might be the place something was invented, or the birthplace of someone famous.

its both an exciting and scary time for me but i did have one important question to ask:.
First of all, I would ask you this...Are you "in the truth" or not? Do you want to maintain a relationship with the jw's?
If you answered NO to either of those questions, I ask you ..."Why worry what they think or do?"
Do what makes you happy and fulfilled in life. If you try to make the dubs happy, you will spend your life in misery trying.
Best thing I ever did was to quit worrying about what they thought.

several of you have commented that you have books in publication, and some of you have been relatively successful with sales.. i'm halfway there.
i have a published book.
I have never done it, but were I to, I would post a chapter or two on forums such as this, and then link it to e-bay or the like.

while you were a witness, is there anything in particular that you'll never forget happening?
All of the above, and I remember the panic as a child before meeting time. Knowing that my dear old man (po by the way), would whip us bloodied in the kh lobby with a coat hanger. or make my brothers and I stand with our feet away from the wall, and our noses on the wall, hands behind the back, as the meeting ended and the kh emptied, for all to see just how "bad" we were, if we didn't follow the program.... Answer the required number of questions, sit straight, no fidgeting, no bathroom breaks, etc etc etc...
