The solution is simple.

at work we have four toilets per floor of which two are male and two female - we have about a 10 - 1 balance of men to women and so we got to bitching about how unfair it is that they (the ladies) get two toilets while we have to hike around looking for an available stall.
these toilets are single occupant rooms (as a toilet prude these are my favourite toilets of all time!
- i can't do 2's in public except in dire emergencies) but we got to talking about some of the other offices where the toilets are larger etc.. and several people are in there at one time.
The solution is simple.

i'v been lurking for a few months, but something jakes said about the 2005 wt caused me to think about what a brother said one sunday in one of the very last talks i attended in 2005. he said, "you have to believe what the society says, even if the bible doesn't say it, because after all, they are your brothers".
i was thinking about going back at the time, but that statement really floored me.. that statement along with the unfair way i was treated has caused me not to go back to the meetings.
but even so, i am still pretty much confused, as i still believe they have more truth than other religions.
Hi Annie...welcome to the board. Good to have you here.
I still believe they have more truth than other religions
Give it some time...you will soon see just how wrong they really are.
just got back from the district assembly and during the baptism talk the speaker made this statement: "...in association with god's spirit directed organization?".
now, correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't jr brown (the societies media spokesman) say during an interview that the witnesses do not consider themselves to be "spirit directed"?.
before i get all mad and outraged about this, would someone either confirm or refute the fact that "brother" brown made this statement?.
I think you have it right. That's what I took from Brown's statement.
my daughters scripture teacher recently told the scripture class that in nsw, australia there will be no more scripture classes.
the reason was that it was too hard to find teachers.
a couple of weeks later a letter was read in the congregations to that affect, and saying that it is a parents responsibility to spiritually raise a child.
called the Department of Education and they said the Watchtower Society is still registered and so allowed to provide scripture teachers. There is no training required, no certificates and no cost to the Society. I find it difficult to understand the Watchtower reasoning. Of all religions JWs should have the easiest time finding teachers, as pioneers generally look for any excuse to get out of going door to door.
It is a shocking indication of the WTS total disregard for the needs of children. They provide no Sunday school, no youth camps, protect pedophiles, and now can't even be bothered organizing scripture classes. My daughter is a classic example of why they should. I am "apostate" and my wife virtually totally inactive now, so scripture is one of the main opportunities they had to indoctrinate her.
Guess the income was a lot less than the expenses...
anyone here been through bootcamp?.
i want to know what it is like for my daughter......... there must be some stories out there ....... also, anyone know heatmiser?
if i remember right, he was in iraq or going.........just curious.. and~~~~ is anyone from south carolina?.
Law enforcement for me. Not near as bad as they make it out to be. Try to relax....
i am gonna be relaxing at uncles house, listen to music and all that sorta thing.
Stealth, you're going to be away from home for 6 months? Yikes.
Yep. Wish an old bugger like me luck...
.
looks like the wt is trying to instill diligence/greater caution within the rank and file who drive.

I guess that the last law-suit cost them a small fortune. A&&holes!!!!
hi.
one of the girls i work with, wenda, is studying with the dubs!
I would avoid books like Thirty Years A Watchtower Slave by Schnell and Awake to the the Watchtower! by Doug Harris, or anything by Jerry Bergman, Walter Martin or the other hacks providing hatchet jobs on the Witnesses.
I have pretty much flown the same line as you, on most of your posts. This one however, puzzles me. The author's account of what they had experienced, is just that...their experience. It is up to the reader to make a decision as to the validity and substance of the story as told...
My opinion only...
letting all know that an artfully contrived false story will be studied in next weeks book study "what does the bible really teach" in the appendix on pg 215. .
1914-a significantyear in bible prophecy.. decades in advance, bible students proclaimed that there would be significant developments in 1914. what were these, and what evidence points to 1914 as such an important year?.....
the rest of this book does not anwser this question because the only thing the bible students said about 1914 before 1914 was that this would be the beginning of armarggetton.
Another neat pile of watchliar bull$hit.
Carefull where you step...
one of my gun owner's forums is having a couple of really great discussions about jws.
i'm doing my best to tell them the unpleasant truths behind the truth.
i'm actually one of 3 xjws on the forum!
