  Door to Door Dangers

  i understand people's growing reluctance to answer their doors anymore with the crime rate soaring etc.

  jw's must be a nuisance to many because of this.. however, as a jw did you ever find yourself in a dangerous situation because of calling on someone who was dangerous?

  do you feel, or did you feel you would have had divine protection in such cases?

  i've been posting here for quite a long time, so long in fact that it just doesn't feel right that my wife isn't a part of it.

  earlier today i created an account for her with the username heron, she'll know why.

  i'm not sure if my wife will ever post here but i would feel much more comfortable knowing she is aware that i do.. this is the one post i am going to ask her to read.. so, i'd really appreciate it if you could say hello to my lovely wife.

  SKYPE - ANYONE

  i am sure there has been a thread about this but i downloaded skype - (free) and i have a webcam and a microphone so i can call friends and family in europe who also have skype and i can talk and see them free of charge - really cool.

  anyone of you guys got skype?

  Ya, and it's great. My only problem is that I am on a wireless internet connection, so at times, the quality is dictated by the wireless "connection".

  i knew an elder who wouldnt buy an alfa romeo (car) because it had a badge at the front of the car with a symbol of a snake on it.

  thats the mind boggling effect the wts had on people.. every day normal things, you would question yourself as to weather it had satanic connections with it.. its a wonder how we survived our everyday living?.

  today i was woken by two 20 something year old jw guys.

  i let them offer the mags and then told them i was not interested in religion.

  after the reasoning book comeback i told them i was a jw but left a year ago.

  I share your pain. Perhaps next time they call, you could do like I do.

  I tell them I would love to talk to them just as soon as my family and I are finished sacrificing goats to Satan, in the back yard. I invite them to join us and as soon as we are finished up, we can all sit down for a nice little chat.

  They usually leave before I finish the invite.

  Why do witnesses tell others how to live their lives, yet their own homes..

  are in turmoil?.

  i have been watching my witness mother refuse to confront her many problems with my father and brothers...instead running out at every opportunity to knock on her nieghbor's doors and tell them how some men in new york think they should be living their lives and running their household, calling it the "truth"...all while anyone who knows her knows what a mess her home life is.. .

  for one i think she should be a bit more selective on what she defines as truth..for two i don't think she can lead by example only empty hypocritical words.. .

  Raymond Franz is back in WTS ?

  a friend of mine (still an active jw) is quite sure that r.franz is back into wts.

  from his point of view, an evidence is that he never published the 2nd part of isocf, even if it was announced in the first isocf.

  i'm quite sure this is a nonsense , but you may help me with some information.
