  question: other than a "library card"...what are the advantages that an organization would have as an ngo with the un?

  are there priviledges and/or protections offered by this membership?

  surely, there are other reasons to obtain this status other than access to the un library--what would they be?

  hmm ... all this freemasonry posting has sent me off on a trail.

  found a bit of a spooky site at http://www.newnetizen.com/globalelite/bloodlines/russellbloodline.htm which has page after page about the watchtower and especially c.t.russell.

  they reckon he is from a long line of russells who were masons.

  Hi alliwannadoislive. Norm, Kent, AlanF, and Farkle are brilliant guys, true enough. When they post they usually "bring something to the table", not just a tsk-tsk and a rolling of the eyes. All of the ancillary subjects are fascinating. I have found that when I start down one path two or three more open up. And it takes objective (read cold-blooded) searching. Looking at BOTH sides of the coin. What I am finding is that the scope of this subject really does seem to broaden. Im having alot of fun and I encourage you to do the same.

  Dungbeetle, mention Menta Sturgeon today among most JWs and you will probably get a blank stare. Those that do are surprised to hear that Pastor Russell's secretary left the "truth" for greener pastures. Once during a book study I made the comment that F.H. Robison left as well. That went over like a turd floating in a punch bowl. Thanks for the link.

  Hi Messenger. Thank you very much. I was double-checking something you said about this KM school with my notes from the 32 hour school in '98. Just doing so almost made me break out in a cold sweat. I dont know how you do it but I applaud you. When I stopped serving I felt as if I had been paroled! This is one of those posts that you print out. Thanks so much again.

  Hello Prisca. Might I introduce myself. You have always seemed like one of nicer posters on this forum. The reason I have pushed for JEMIMAH to "put his money where mouth is", is because of the danger it would pose to those valuable "moles" in place if he is a WT troll. Lets say that in an indiscreet moment, and we all have them, one of the participants in the war against the WTBS (which is fought on many fronts), shows just one of the cards in his hand. It can ruin years of work. Someone who gets disenchanted for whatever reason with the society and agrees to help in some way is very rare indeed. And yet much to the WT's chagrin, they are there.Im sorry if my post to JEMIMAH sounded coarse and rude to you, but if you go back and take messenger's post point by point and then research all of JEMIMAH's posts from day one you will see the pattern outlined in messenger's post. I also personally know you cant "friendly" someone in to giving up pertinent info. Either you are on board or not. If strong convictions and a desire to help people get the truth are not enough, then nothing is. What has set my alarm off is if I was on the "inside" at ANY branch I would NEVER post here in that manner. I would simply contact someone who could put the information to great use. So I have followed JEMIMAH's posts with great interest. Temporary silence on this subject can be understood, but not a total ignoring of this challenge. And let me say "sorry" in advance if I am wrong, I dont mean to be "shirty".

  Messenger is right on! Put up or shut up Jemimah. Silentlambs called you to task long ago if I remember right. There are many people you could deal with without compromising your precious position. This post was the last straw for me with you. My troll alert just went off big-time now. You carrot-sticked us with the IBSA and WCC and just hoped we would forget about it I guess. I challenge you to contact someone, perhaps Randy Watters, about this potentially explosive association. Are you in this org. or are you out, at least mentally?

  The Russell/Mason debate

  i have noticed there is some debate on this board about russell and whether he was a mason or not.

  some say he is a part of a conspiracy others say it is nonesence.. i am, to be quite honest, not sure where i fit in this.

  i do find it interesting that russell is buried under a pyramid in the masonic section of a grave yard.
