by Ade inhow far has their preaching gone exactly, how much "earth" is left to cover, they keep claiming here in the uk that they haven't "invaded china yet" but i know differently.
if they have covered the earth how long has it been ??.
anyone who has a little of knowledge of this i would appreciate how many years they have been preaching worldwide "literally".

To Leolaia;(hope i spelled it correctly) The NT claims assume the "whole world" to be the Mediterranean area and thus the preaching was already accomplished "throughout the whole inhabited earth" in the first century: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/96251/1.ashx I agree more than completely with you on this point, for the light shone when jesus came ( and this light is truth and can never change ) and this good news was indeed preached in "all the earth that is under creation"-as said by the apostles.obviously this was used by GOD as the epicentre for the good news to spread worldwide. After pointing this out to an Elder and a few other so called knowledgable "truthers" and saying that virtually everyone has heard of GOD and Jesus and we just need to live our lives by the bible "Love" and "examples" that Jesus set.They replied "It cant be that easy" after i pointed out Jesus was searching for "childlike ones" they gave up on their reasoning lol. all the best Ade

by AlanF ina literal interpretation of this passage shows that the author of the passage viewed the earth as the center of the universe, with the sun and moon going around it.
just why does the watchtower society view passages such as in joshua 10:12-14 as not literal?

Antichrist
by tan ini watched a history channel show re: the antichrist.
very interesting with different perspectives for the books of daniel and revelations.
one thing that really got me thinking...the book of revelations--they state that it may symbolize things that were happening during that period of time...not things to come.

It's definatley a time consuming debate that could arise from this, some say the antichrist was a certain ruler of that day, others say it is yet to come. Ultimatley i find most of the talk of these things insignificant for where wo/men find time to constantly speculate in all seriousness concerning such things it draws away from the fact of what we should be doing. Concentrating on following the example set by christ. Prophecy causes many fruitless disagreements and much arguementation than most bible discussion, for each religion perverts the prophecy to twist their man made doctrines.Anyone of us can be an antichrist by leaving the doctrine of Christ behind. personally i'll stick to Christ and habanero chili pepper growing.; God Bless you and yours Ade

I believe the scripture means whatever you believe it to mean. Words written by men thousands of years ago have no relevance to anyone today. So go ahead, make something up. It's one way to pass the time. youv'e hit a mighty nail on the head here, because this is what i believe with virtually all scripture.people twist it and turn it to the point where it no longer means anything.And i believe so many people lose the love they had by searching for too much .
