Its not the matter of trying to "avoid" the ten commandments, if you perform them you are not sinning, as those commandments would be covered fully by the "love you neighbour as yourself commandment and the Love God first and foremost commandment"Your are sinnin if you try to live by them, when Jesus replaced the fact we need to live by a law code as Gods grace currently makes us righteous

The commandments were given ( IMO ) to show Gods chosen nation the way in which they firstly, should live to be a special people to God, Secondly, thirdly, to point to the fact that they werent capable of holding the law to its fullest ( only a perfect man could )showing them they needed a saviour, the scriptures say that basically the law exposed sin, so it shew the people they were far from perfection, therefore prefiguring ( as was done by the prophets and the law ) that something better was to come.During the LAW phase , God was holding mans sin against him as man had a "law code" to live by.

If we reason this slowly - the ten commandments are Good ( for a perfect man etc ) would you like to try and live and be judged out of the ten commandments ?? do you think many of us would be deemed righteous ?? i doubt it, as prementioned the commands EXPOSED sin, whilst they are of an extreme righteous standard, it is nonetheless one we cannot attain as humans.

so briefly according to my understanding ( and some may wish to set me straight ) there is no error in the Ten commandments and no problem with them still being with God, as they were put there for a specific reason at a specific time.They are better than good they are perfect - so we can not possibly attain them in our current form.

2nd corinithians 3 is a major set back for those who believe in keeping the 10 commandments.

if you carfeully read Leolaia's post then turn to the book of Hebrews reading chap 8:1 - 13 , you will obtain a full answer to any saying the first covenent must be followed to the nth degree even down to the ten commandments. specifically verse 13 .

Matt,
Youve written a very reasonable letter there my friend.Not provoking, just asking him/her to point you in the right direction truthfully from scripture ( which he wont be able to do ) . Also pointing out the history of the WTBTS and FDS he/she may have to check it to see if you are telling the truth, which in turn may lead him to see the changes in doctrine and the false prophecies.

true friendship, true brotherhood??

recently we received a phone call, .

it was a sister whom we had known from the first kingdom hall we attended .she broke in to conversation concerning my health !!

asking how i was, this firstly was mightily shocking and secondly not allowed as i am da'd.knowing this sister however ( i will for no reason state that she is the wife of an elder, he being a genuine person whom i wish i could draw away from the lies ) i waited for the true reason of the call.

Hi Daystar;
To me, and again, I mean no disrespect, it seems weak and to have a victim mentality. You become rather easy to push around. In other words, a sheep. Maybe that is what you want. Maybe you assume the shepherd to have good intentions. I do not. I've seen too many "shepherds" have nothing but evil intentions, even if well-intended.

I will just point out i am shepherded by one, that is Christ and no man, neither will i accept even a mans teaching unless it falls inline with scripture. Also there is a scenario whereby the man crosses the road intent on evil, this would shine a entirely new light on the situation, avoidance where possible but wrath also has its place as you state.

I understand your stance completely and so do many others whom take it.We are all given gifts by God I have been granted a gift of forgiveness, i do not hold a grudge and cannot even attempt to do so.Forgiveness and forgeting are however two different things, when i teach my children ( and im not insinuating anything about anyone reading this being a child etc ). I use a simple illustration.

Whilst walking along the street a certain man pushes you into the road, You forgive and forget presuming it to be an accident. The next time you see the same man on the same road, he performs the same act , pushing you into the road.

This goes on for some time, each time your life being risked by being pushed into the road.Each time you forgive the man.
Does this mean you continue to allow him to push you, no you simply cross and walk down the opposite side of the road.Have you forgiven the man - Yes. Have you forgotten - No ,because you need to recall the past for it holds valuable lessons for us all, in all aspects of life.

Whilst to those of you who dont believe in God this means little , to myself it means much.If i can bring my other qualities to the level of my forgiveness then i may become a half decent Christian.

Recently we received a phone call,
It was a sister whom we had known from the first kingdom hall we attended .She broke in to conversation concerning my health !! asking how i was, this firstly was mightily shocking and secondly not allowed as i am DA'd.Knowing this sister however ( i will for no reason state that she is the wife of an elder, he being a genuine person whom i wish i could draw away from the lies ) i waited for the true reason of the call. Eventually the true reason for the call came out, unfortunately for the sister, her daughter has been diagnosed with skin cancer, I dont know her daughter but i will pray for them all in this time of need ( even though the last time this sister was at my home , she insulted me infront of my family and an elder - i have totally forgiven her).

She amongst other things said to my wife "Its a shame Adrian Da'd himself or the whole congregation would have been there to help him through his health problems".Now here is the point to be considerate of , If the congregation is so loving, Why is this sister phoning Myself ( Da'd) My Wife ( inactive and ready to D'a ) for comfort?? The simple reason is there is no real love or compassion within the congregation/s. When these believers in God, and their spiritual brothers and sisters need to turn to apostates to show love and compassion its a true sign of what they are really involved in - a lie.

As for me, Should anything happen to me in the near future due to health or otherwise, I am so happy i left this mind devastating cult who serving a group of men who claim to be Gods mouth piece, are incapable of emulating the true nature of our God and his Son.
